Great book, great narration

A strong and convicting peace written by a notoriously faithful minister of the Gospel. Eye opening regarding how we as fathers and men, can faithfully raise our children in a corrupt society.

Excellent Biblical Guide for Fathers

This book was a very thorough, challenging read as I prepare to be a father. John's teaching is very well laid out, and biblically sound. It was a great help for me, and I hope that it will help you as well!

Great for dads struggling to lead a difficult home.

This is the first book I’ve finished in a decade that the Lord has brought my way. My family has went through so much I can’t believe it’s not a fictional story. After pushing back against the grain, I finally submitted and read a book on Biblical leadership. I’m so glad I did. Grace to you and ligonier literature has transformed my life from a desolate reprobate, to a reformed Christian who understands my fallenness, but the grace of God through his omniscience. Stay strong as a man, and I recommend you read this more than once and study the verses provided. Love you wife, and Shepard your children as the Lord commands. They need us greatly to lead with strength, and a soft touch. “A truly strong man isn’t afraid to be humble and approachable.

Must have book for Fathers

I find this book a must have for every father on their parenting journey. Love the way pastor MacArthur constantly quotes the Bible throughout the book. This book is a reminder to men to be what God designed them to be.
