About this listen
Hoping for smooth sailing the ladies of Ten Beach Road confront choppy seas....
Forced to rent out or lose their beloved Bella Flora after the loss of their renovation-turned-reality-TV show Do Over, Maddie, Nikki, Avery, Kyra, and Bitsy move into cottages at the Sunshine Hotel and Beach Club believing the worst is over. Only to discover just how uncertain their futures really are.
Maddie struggles with the challenges of dating a rock star whose career has come roaring back to life while Nikki faces the daunting realities of mothering twins at 47. Avery buries herself in a tiny home build in an attempt to dodge commitment issues, and Kyra battles to protect her son from the Hollywood world she once dreamed of joining. And Bitsy is about to find out whether the rewards of seeking revenge will outweigh the risks.
Luckily, when the going gets tough, the ladies of Ten Beach Road know that their friendship - tried and tested - can chase away the darkest clouds and let the sun shine in.

Story
Award-winning poet Marisa de los Santos crafts an irresistibly touching debut novel. Love Walked In is a contemporary tale, steeped in nostalgic, cinematic charm, of love in all its forms. Unapologetically idealistic about love, Cornelia Brown appears to catch the break of a lifetime when the dashing Martin Grace, her own personal Cary Grant, comes strolling into her life. But it is Martin's connection to 11-year-old Clare Hobbes that touches Cornelia's heart in ways she never imagined.

Strongest book since the first
I love the Ten Beach Road series, and Wendy Wax did not disappoint with this latest installment. I'm not sure if it's the finale, but this book, which is as strong as the first book in the series, closes several story arcs and takes the amazing women of Ten Beach Road to new beginnings. Amy Rubinate gives another terrific performance, too.

Great summer read!
I have read all of the Ten Beach Road Series plus a few others from Wendy Wax. I believe I enjoyed this book the most out of all of them! This was really good. There was a shocking and suspenseful plot twist that I didn't expect at all. I almost feel like I know Maddie, Nikki, Kira and Avery and Dustin, who is growing up. I am curious to see how she will twist a story around him! I am also glad that the same narrator has been consistent through all the stories. I don't know if I could picture the same story line now with anyone different. I would also like to note that I met Wendy Wax personally at a book signing in Sarasota. She is just as nice of a person as she is talented a writer. Ms. Wax, you are a talented writer. This book is a great beach read and I was able to escape into the story. It was great to relate to the locations because I live here and I know the area that is described in this book. I hope Wendy Wax continues this series.

If you haven’t read this series you need to begin now! The characters are realistic and the sceneries are truly enjoyable. I hope Wendy Wax finds more stories for them soon.
