Such a sweet story! And I loved how the narrator's accent complimented the setting! It gives anyone who listens a compassion for animals, especially those that are mistreated.

Well satisfied
This was a well narrarated story. The narrator has a clear voice and speaks in a naturally flowing manner which is complimented by slight character agents. The story, a well known classic, is fully recorded and has well separated chapters. All around it was a very satisfying listen and is something I would recommend at least to anyone who hasn't read the book.

Even more enjoyable than when I read it as a child
As a horse crazy girl, I enjoyed this book, but as an adult, I enjoyed more of the social nuances of the story. and feel it is a quite decently written story. And we'll performed.

Love the story
This story will entertain people of all ages, male and female. I have listened to it over and over again. The audio in Chapter 44 is not so great. There are several sentences where the words are repeated two or three times. Otherwise, great investment!

A Timeless Classico
Black Beauty is a very well-written book, which holds a special place in my heart. Perfect to listen to in the car or read aloud to your kids, this novel does an excellent job of illustrating how humans and animals interacted in that time period, and how far we have come in understanding and caring for the creatures God entrusted to us. I would highly recommend this title for eight years and up.

Black Beauty
Black Beauty is a well thought out book. It is extremely intriguing, and quite happy but not the all of the book is happy which can be good because when the book turned from sad to happy I was thrilled. It feels the the reader is feeling the same emotions. This book is fantastic and I would recommend it to any pony lover

Black Beauty
Same wonderful classic tale that I loved as a child and it is very well read for the moist part though I feel a bit to fast in some parts that seemed to run together. The biggest problem that I had was towards the end of the story the recording skipped in several places and repeated the same sentence more than once. Though this only happened towards the end and on not sure why. Still is a very good story.
