About this listen

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author, C. L. Stone, read Black and Green, the much-anticipated eleventh book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.

Sang Sorenson’s father abandoned her and her sister, leaving them to fend for themselves for months. He’s returned, and finds Sang is missing. He demands she return. Right now.

Will he call the police if she doesn’t?

Her Academy team doesn’t want to risk losing her ghost status and she doesn’t want to put them in danger, so she reluctantly returns home, but is comforted that she will still be monitored by them.

But the second she opens the door, she discovers her father has made changes that will affect her entire future. His decisions will make them a normal family.

Normal is no longer what Sang wants. It would kill her Academy career before it ever started. Not to mention it would end the special, new, and still-fragile relationships with the guys.

Sang struggles with her family, her identity, and where she truly belongs. Now that the entire team knows about their romantic relationships with her, tensions are mounting, tearing the team apart from the inside.

Only, Dr. Green isn't going to lie down and roll over by playing by the rules. Not anymore. Not while Sang is at risk.

His heart can’t take leaving her in that house one more minute. He needs her. They all do.

Great

One of my favorite series. I wish the books in series would release faster. I have listened to all 14 books, But since it took so long to wait for release of last book I had to go and listen to the previous ones again to remember the details.
I am waiting for the future books in this series. I hope the next one come soon.
I read some other reviews about the narrator and some people were not happy about it. However, I personally love this narrator and can not imagine this series being narrated by anyone else. She is very Talented, and has captured the tune and infliction, personality of each character with their sweet charming Southern Charleston accent. The soothing calm low voice of koda, gentleman formal voice of Victor, friendly affectionate voice of Dr Green, formal sharp polite voice of Mr Blackbeurne, Greek sweet voice of Silas, playful emotional voice of Gabriel, and all other characters. it is not an easy task to record more than 15 different characters voices with this accuracy and make the listener fall in love with 10 of them as it should. ;)

Angst-filled perfection

While this was probably my least favorite book in the series, I still absolutely loved it. It was the hardest to read and listen to because my heart just broke for Sang and the guys (especially Sean and Kota). She was happy for a couple weeks...stressed but happy. But then her life was turned upside down after a terrible day and night at camp, she returns to someone taking over her home and family! Seriously, what a miserable few days! (It’s hard to believe that book was less than a week timespan!)
But it did make me absolutely love Luke even more. He’s such a ray of sunshine in Sang’s life! And I’m so glad it ended the way it did. Whew!
Natalie did a fantastic job narrating this book too. She just gets better and better!

Awesome

This is the best book in the series. The narrator did the best job ever with this one. I love that they focused on one problem. Getting Sang out! I can’t wait for the next audiobook. Thanks so much!

Let’s get on with it.

So we’re at book 11 and still not passed January. I would like this book to move a little faster. I understand character building and your working with a lot of people. But going into book 12 you haven’t even touched at all the boys. I would like to see her a couple years older before entering a relationship with so many. Also I’m more interested in the Academy part of the story
and how she will work there. I get so frustrated that I pick up the next book and still nothing happens. So many possibilities but in the end if I think too much it feels very wrong. A 16-year-old mentally and physically Abused girl getting involved with the 11 young males. I’m afraid the book is going to just stop with no conclusions. How in the world do you make that work.
