About this listen

The only way Kane knew how to get by was to hunt monsters and sell their body parts to the Guild. The only reason he needed the money? To pay off Katya’s debt to the Madame.

Life had other plans. The demonic entity in him called Astaroth awakened and threatened to destroy everything he cared for. But the demon’s first point of business? Killing Lilith, the being that denied him love.

Thrust into an invasion on his homeland, the odds were against Kane. Who was behind the war, and why were they targeting him? Finding out would be the last thing he wanted.

Note: Contains explicit situations, foul language, graphic violence, and all the other goodness you would expect in a dark fantasy novel with explicit scenes! Only for 18 years of age and older, so listen at your own risk.

Good story

Good story with imaginative world building. I didn't enjoy the narrator, but that might just be personal preference.

AMAZING

Bloodlines was a great book 1 for,me that left me craving for the next. I loved the character improvement that made me want to know more of the pasts they all have and the futures are even more exhilarating.

Narrator did a fantastic job in my mind making me feel the emotions the characters were giving off.

the start was jolting a bit confusing but it definitly puts you on the correct path without it being boring that is for sure.

all in all 5star only thing is i need to be able to listen to it longer haha

Intriguingly Dark!

Intriguing story and great narration

The setting is a dark fantasy world that is cruel, harsh, and full of magic. The MC is a well established and fairly powerful (in ability not status) member of the Adventurer's Guild, who is striving to buy the freedom of a girl he is sweet on from the local brothel. As the story progressed, we find that unbeknown to the MC, his past has demons (quite literally) and he must face more as he struggles to protect the people he cares about from an invading army while not losing himself to his inner demons. Will he succeed, and what will be the price?

This book was an interesting change of pace from my usual generas. I am looking forward to the sequel!

Note:
This genera is Dark Haram. Within this genera the worlds tend to be darker, the characters less "White Knight," and may contain explicit sex scenes with a more S&M vibe.

Great book

Thanks is a great book and I enjoyed listening to it. However, there were a couple of things I had noticed.

The Narrator was great, but kept the same pace regardless of the character's situation. For example, when one of the girls would sound flirty the lines were delivered flat. I think if the Narrator put more emotion into the character's speech then it would improve the story more.

Story-wise, I only had one pet peeve regarding the MC. That peeve was the fact that he didn't think and just let the flow carry him. As much as he "cared" for Katja (lady #1), the MC doesn't really think about his promise with her or the consequences of breaking it. I could understand if it had been brother on by Astroth's influence, but he only had Alpha as a travel companion so this didn't make any sense to me.

In my opinion its crap

the narrator did a good job the story was garbage. at first it was going well and I was enjoying it. then it turned into who the hell knows.

**spoilers**
Main character basically is one step away from being evil. The women he keeps around him self all have issues of one sort or another and the way he interacts with them is just hmmm how to say sh**.

Broken book "spoilers"

This is an erotic tale, wrapped up in an attempt at a lit rpg setting. But badly done on both parts. The way the author writes evokes the conan series of the super humanly strong man that is well known far and wide, but no one knows who he is in his home town when the author needs it, or explaining how everyone looking for him just happens to go to the one place he is, or those he has terrified and threatened now beseach him like he is a long lost hero.... what? A very broken and disjointed tale, that had me cringing and complaining within the first few minutes. He attempts to bribe a guard like it is an every day occurrence, the guard than complains at the lack of amount and the author than trys to play it off as how much the character hates the corruption,, umm he just bribed a guard without first trying to just walk past, or talk his way out of it, he just walks up and bribed him than over acts the corruption. Than we are to accept that buying a prostitute automatically makes her love him..huh?? Avoid this book, dont waste your money or valuable time.

Negative 2 stars

Crap story and crap MC waste of time and money the MC works for years the pay off the debt of the woman he love and a day after freeing her he's getting sucked off by a slave and sacrifices 15 other slaves not to save anyone but so he can fuck a demon I don't understand why you have to leave 1 star but even 1 star can give the author a false sense of accomplishment
