Blue: When my ex walks into the resort bar with his new husband on his arm, I want nothing more than to prove to him that I've moved on. Thankfully, the sexy stranger sitting next to me is more than willing to share a few kisses in the name of revenge. It gets even better when those scorching kisses turn into a night of fiery passion.
The only problem? Turns out the stranger's brother is marrying my sister later this week.
Tristan: I have one rule: no messing with the guests at my vineyard resort. Of course, the one exception I make turns out to be the brother of the woman my brother's about to marry. Now we're stuck together for a week of wedding activities, and there's no avoiding the heat burning between us.
So fine, we make a deal: one week. One week to enjoy each other's bodies and get it out of our system. Once the bride and groom say I do and we become family, it'll all be over between us. Right?
Fair warning: Blue and Tristan's story contains smoking hot scenes of man parts touching, pee-in-pants descriptions of grannies cursing, and the sweet improbability of two strangers finding their happily ever after when they least expect it.
Borrowing Blue is the first in the new Made Marian series. Each book tells the story of one of the Marian brothers' search for true love and can be listened to as standalone or as part of the series.

The familial secondary characters had me laughing non stop and the love between Blue and Tristan was amazing. Blue met Tristan at a bar and when Blue's ex walks in the bar with a new man on his arm, Tristan and Blue come up with the idea to fake a relationship. The only problem is Tristan isn't gay and he is fresh out of a divorce.
Through the evolution of this story, Tristan comes to terms with his sexuality and quickly realizes he has been holding himself back from his true self.
There is lots going on with the subplot that filled in lulls in the main plot. I listened to this almost straight through because I couldn't stop.
Michael Pauley did an amazing job narrating. Not only was it easy to tell if Tristan or Blue was speaking but he really got into it, laughing a genuine laugh at the appropriate moments. It helped keep me in the story and made me feel connected to the characters.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
In a New York minute!!! A thousand times yes. You have not read a book till you hear a book. What other book might you compare Borrowing Blue to and why?
Well since Borrowing Blue was my first audible can't compare. However, I don't think you can compare this book to anything because nothing comes close to it. Except maybe the rest of the series but you won't know that till you read or listen to the rest of the series. I did this backwards and have read all the books then started listening to them. So nothing compared for me.What about Michael Pauley’s performance did you like?
I loved the way he made Blue come alive for me. He made him sound just like he did in my head when I read the book.Who was the most memorable character of Borrowing Blue and why?
Blue of course for obvious reasons, but a very and I do mean very close second place is Aunt Tilly. OMG everyone and I do mean everyone needs an Aunt Tilly in their life.Any additional comments?
I can't believe I waited so long to listen to a book. However I am glad this one was my first. I have a feeling I know which will be my second, third and fourth. Lol. Seriously I couldn't get over how much more sensual the scenes were and how much more the book and characters came alive. You definitely won't be disappointed when listening to this story. My advice is to get comfortable and be prepared to be blown away.

Would you consider the audio edition of Borrowing Blue to be better than the print version?
I have both the audio and the print version, however, Michael Pauley brings life to the book. It is also great to just listen while on the long drives in my car... but beware.... this book is hot! What was one of the most memorable moments of Borrowing Blue?
This book is filled with great moments, it's hard to pick just fun. The Marian family is just so funny.Any additional comments?
