About this listen

The billionaire who wins at all costs:
Texan Alton Bouchard always gets what he wants. There’s not much money can’t buy, and for everything else, he bulldozes his way to victory. The moment he sees Noah Divine, the heir of the Divine Conglomerate, Alton knows he wants him. Alton digs up enough dirt to scare Noah’s father, and before Noah realizes what is happening, he’s contracted to be married to Alton for six months.

The artist minted by money:
Noah Divine wants nothing to do with his family’s business. His dream to be a painter has made him his father’s number one disappointment. When he’s asked to marry Alton to smooth over the dark splotches on his family’s reputation, Noah can’t see a solution to the problem except to comply, if only to keep life normal for his younger siblings.

The marriage plot:
Alton has a plan—a short marriage to Noah, which will give him business, as well as personal opportunities. The hitch is that he doesn’t expect Noah to be so pure and innocent, especially since he’d grown up in the moneyed world of Vert Island. Noah wants to hate Alton, but he discovers there’s more to the billionaire than he shows. As they navigate their arrangement, they find their feelings for each other grow deeper than they anticipated. Once six months is over, their lives will go back to the way they were before the wedding. But what if they don’t want to be alone again? Can a marriage started with a contract ever become more?

At the beginning of Bound to Him, Alton has a complete lack of morals, but never fear, Noah wins him over, and there is a happily ever after.

So good!

This is definitely another homerun for the incomparable duo of Ki Brightly & MD Gregory. Forced marriage is one of my favorite tropes and this one was executed superbly and the narration only enhanced the story and really brought Alton and Noah to life.

So good!!

I enjoyed Alton and Noah’s story. It’s mildly angsty, well written, and a lovely addition to the New Gothenburg universe. I’d read the book previously, but there is something special about listening to it when read by an amazing, emotive artist.

I received a free copy of this audiobook with no obligation in regard to writing a review.

Very Good

This story had me angry because of ownership of another person in the beginning, as Alton had the upper hand over Noah.He was forced into a contract by his love of family. As they learn each other, there are many misunderstanding and plenty of hot sex.. The narration was excellence. I received this audible for honest review

Sweet romance

The story starts a bit harsh, but it quickly turns into a sweet romance to last! Willis does amazing as always and as a Texan myself, I approve of his accent!

Taking what he wants

Seeing Noah, Alton knows that he must have him.
What ensues is a business deal in order for him to have him.
Innocent and naive Noah is thrown into the business world as a commodity but in order to appease and ensure the safety of those that he loves, he accepts what he cannot avoid.
But, the more he gets to know Alton the more he sees the man who Alton tries to hide and maybe their marriage can be more than just a business transaction.

A story that is multifaceted with its intriguing characters and fascinating plot.
The narration was terrific and I was engaged throughout this story.

Riveting and impactful

I love how Alton's mom puts him in his place! Too funny. Her support was amazing. Even though Alton tried to beca stern unforgiving sod , he had a soft spot for Noah. but he was a treacherous business man. A few times Alton deserved a good smack and hard shake for some of his actions towards Noah! Alton was really an idiot to let a good thing go. Anton was an amazing negotiator, thankfully. He probably had an ulcer the size of a softball!! Noah really did make Alton a much better person. Kudos!!
I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. His voice was a good fit for these characters.

Love how the narrator could do a southern drawl. Own the book and the story is one that I know I wanted on audio too. Can’t get enough of new Gothenburg world.
