Publisher's summary

We all experience the impossibilities of life, just like the four men in the Bible who sought Jesus' healing touch for their paralyzed friend. The question is - how will you respond?

You have two options. You can accept your circumstances as God's will and simply give up, or you can break through and receive everything God has waiting for you.

Breakthrough Faith will help you discover:

  • You have an enemy: all circumstances are not God's will
  • God is both willing and able to miraculously move in your life
  • You already possess breakthrough faith: you just need to activate it
  • The mind matters: what you think about God determines what you experience
  • Intimacy with the father ushers you into a supernatural lifestyle and greater works
  • Practical keys to activating breakthrough faith in your life: declaration, testimony, and presence

The paralytic's four friends didn't give up and broke through the roof to get to Jesus - and experienced the miraculous. You can break through too! Get ready to activate the faith God has given you and break through every impossibility that comes against your life!

An inspiring book on faith

What did you like best about this story?

This book really makes you think about Breakthrough Faith.

Any additional comments?

This was a very good book about faith. It has opened my eyes much deeper in my walk with Holy Spirit and inspired me to have greater intimacy with God. I learned so much. I highly recommend this book if you want to have supernatural faith in God despite your circumstances. This will be a great reference book for me in the future. Thank you for writing this book.

Awesome

Truly enjoying this book. Like all the advice and the extra suggested reading recommended at the end of each chapter. I received this book at no charge in exchange for for an honest review . I'll be honest and say I have not finished the whole thing. I don't want to rush through it and miss the lessons. Sometimes your just meant to repeat a few things because that's where your life happens to have you.

old fashioned religion thoughts. not what I wanted

old time religion is that thought that God was not part of us. that's not the kind of lift up and enjoy life. It's not what I was looking for.

Boring and didn't really say anything.....

What disappointed you about Breakthrough Faith?

I got 6 chapters in and felt like I was still listening to the introduction. He really hadn't said anything yet.

Would you ever listen to anything by Larry Sparks again?

I don't think so. He said a lot without saying anything at all.

What aspect of Chris Abell’s performance would you have changed?

I had no problem listening to Chris

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Boredom and disappointment that I wasn't able to get anything from it.

Any additional comments?

I was only able to listen into chapter 6 before I gave up on it. At that point, I felt like he was still telling me what he was going to tell me later in the book. I didn't get anything out of what I had already listened to. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

Somewhat Contradictory Information in the Book

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The book starts off being very eye opening on talking about Breakthrough faith but then becomes somewhat contradictory. In the beginning, it talks about getting beyond knowing that "God Can" to "God Will", but yet, after a few chapters goes back to the standard of what is commonly taught that "God can, but it may not be in His will". He doesn't say this directly, but its implied. You can't say in the beginning that "God Can and Will" and then say "God Can but He may not"....The Author tries to create a book on faith that goes beyond the commonly taught doctrine "if its in God's Will" than your prayer will be answered, but fails. So, it's not much different than what is normally taught. There are some good nuggets in this book, but overall, too much contradiction in order for the nuggets to take root. I was excited during the first 9 chapters, and then the next few chapters negated much of what was said in the first few chapters.

What did you like best about this story?

the first 9 chapters...

Any additional comments?

I was disappointed with this book. It's contradictory within itself and compared to other books that teach on "Faith that moves mountains" and getting christians beyond the point of using the excuse "if it be in God's will" or "it must not have been in Gods' will", thereby never really growing their faith to mountain moving faith or faith that doesn't limit God. If you are looking to grow your faith to do the impossible....I don't think this book is it.
