About this listen

Meet the men of Manning Grove, three small-town cops and brothers, who meet the women who will change the rest of their lives. This is Marc’s story....

Officer Marc Bryson doesn’t believe women should be in law enforcement. Ever. When his older brother, Max, is promoted to the small town’s police chief the first thing he does is hire a woman fresh out of the academy. Then makes Marc her Field Training Officer.

Determined to follow in her late father’s footsteps, Leah Grant has the moxie to break any glass ceiling that stands in the way from becoming a police officer. Even if that means proving to her coach - who only wants her in his bed and not in the field - she’s worthy of being a permanent member of the force.

Working in a man’s world, Leah challenges Marc’s misconceptions about women in the line of duty. But as they struggle to separate their work life from their undeniable chemistry, things continue to steam up and get a little kinky. These two officers of the law must toe the line after being caught red-handed.

In the end, can Leah prove to Marc that she is good as backup as well as in bed?

Marc

Marc is the alpha who thinks he knows what he wants and what’s best for women. His brother Max’s knows how his brother feels about women working in the field. Max’s is sheriff and has no choice but to pair Leah and Marc together he gets a kick out of telling his brother who he will be training. Marc is a great guy and I love him but I swear Marc had me hotter than fish grease and wanting to kill him. Leah is fantastic she is just the woman to put Marc in his place and doesn’t care how he feels about it. I loved how they fight neither one wanting to step down. Marc and Leah are perfect for each other if only they don’t kill each other first. This is a fantastic story and the characters are realistic and likable.

Great Read

Brother in Blue: Marc by Jeanne St. James is a great read. This is the second book in the Brothers in Blue series. This is the story of Marc and Leah. Leah comes to town to become a police officer and follow in her father’s footsteps. Marc is a police officer in his hometown and Leah’s training officer. Marc has some strong feelings about women and the force. They have an immediate attraction to each other but try to hide it because they work so closely together. This is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs and twists and turns. Had me crying in parts and laughing in others. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Another great addition to the series!

Marc is Book Two in the Brothers in Blue series by Jeanne St James and this time we get to meet the older brother Marc

The narrator pairing of Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke is just fantastic. Both have smooth confident voices that still convey emotion and chemistry between to the two main characters

The small-town cop story isn't something new, but the author includes everything a listener could want in a decent audiobook - great banter and super duper hot chemistry between Marc and Leah

A great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one

I want to live in Manning Grove

I thought I loved Max, but Marc now takes the cake. He was such a strong police officer but a totally teddy bear with the woman he fell in love with. Leah was looking for a real just and ended up with a community and a family that fell in love with her. The two together were massive sparks but true soulmates.A perfect audiobook with fabulous narrators that I highly recommend. I cannot wait until Matt's story.

Brother's in Blue: Marc

Marc and Leah meet on the job. Marc is Leah’s Field Training Officer, unfortunately, Marc does not think women should be police officers. Leah has worked hard to become a police officer and she is not going to let Marc stand in her way. Instantly Marc and Leah are attracted to each other and their off time is filled with hot sex. In addition to enjoying Marc and Leah’s journey, we can check in with Max, Amber, and more beloved characters from the first book in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes opinionated, sexy men, and strong women that can bring them to their knees.

Another 5 stars

I'm just beginning the long list of Jeanne St. James books, and only wish I could read or listen faster!!! I loved the 1st book so much, I never thought I could possibly love #2 as much or more. Wrong! Marc was all that and more. Loved the story and the excitement between these two. And I can't get enough of Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas' narration! A+ !!!❤❤❤

Fabulous addition to the series

I listened to Max, book one in the Brothers in Blue series and loved it, so when I saw Marc was now available I jumped right in. I adore stories about small towns and when it also has a hot as sin and totally alpha, not to mention a tad kinky cop such as Marc, then I couldn’t resist.

This was a great addition to the series. Ava Lucas and Jason Clark’s narration was spot on for these characters.

The relationship that Marc has with his whole family is great , although to be honest I wasn’t too impressed by his attitude toward women being in the police force initially. It was amusing to watch the great man be bowled over by Leah Grant as she challenged his opinions both in and out of the bedroom.

The chemistry between Marc and Leah was off the charts hot as they tried to juggle their professional and business relationships.

Can Leah prove to Marc that she is the right partner for him in and out of the bedroom or his Marc destined to be alone?

Heroine is awful

I had to fast forward through most of the book because I wanted to slap her. She was bratty, snotty and selfish. Marc was redeemable but I just couldn’t with her. What a disappointment.
