About this listen

Meet the men of Manning Grove, three small-town cops and brothers, who meet the women who will change the rest of their lives. This is Matt’s story....

As a former Marine, Matt Bryson has dealt with PTSD ever since coming home from the Middle East. He finds himself fortunate to be able to return to his job as a cop at the local police department with his brothers Max and Marc.

Dr. Carly Stephens works hard as an obstetrician at the local hospital, struggling to pay off her medical school loans, financially support her elderly parents, and save money to adopt a baby. Unable to have children, she still longs for one of her very own.

Instantly attracted to the "dictator doctor," Matt finds Carly easily brings him to his knees both emotionally and physically. What starts out only as a convenient sexual relationship turns into a whole lot more when dealing with their pasts and their future. Especially since Matt doesn’t ever want children.

Matt and Carly find themselves on a passionate and emotional journey that can either bring them together or rip them apart.

Note: This book can be read as a stand-alone and has an HEA ending.

Trigger warning: This audiobook includes a main character dealing with PTSD.

Sexy

This is the story pf Matt and Carly. He is a damaged marine and she is an ob doctor. He offers her a helping hand after she is involved in an accident. She moves into his house and the sparks fly! They both say it's only sex but with the Byrson men you can never be so sure. Matt suffers from bad PTSD so he is being careful about gettting to close. The usual characacters are all there. Jason Clark and Ava Lucas are the awesome narrators of this story and do a great job!

Two Snaps and a Clap!!!

Matt is a brother I wanted to see get his HEA the most, you see I have a soft spot for the Military men who come back and are a little damaged. I just learned this about myself. I can’t help but feel the emotions and want them to find that special someone that can help them or help them see that they need help.
Matt is so tortured by his former life as a Marine but not because of something more so because he couldn’t keep helping without really losing himself. You can only witness so much before you yourself breaks.
His story is unique and different and I loved the little twist he and the Doc have it really helps you to understand just want Matt needs. But also what the Doc needs.

I loved this book, buttttt the BONUS “novella” EPIC!!
I am in love and listened to it twice because HELLO LOVE IS LOVE BABY!!
I hope and pray Jeanne St. James does more MM and MMF because I adore those stories as much as I adore her regular MF books.

The narration….you already know I am going to tell you Ava Lucas’ voice gives me the good kind of shivers. ;) **Shhh don’t tell her!!**
Jason Clarke lordy be that man’s voice is delicious I can listen to these two forever and ever!

My favorite brother

Matt was my favorite of the Bryson brothers. His and Carly’s story was an emotional ride that was well written. The chemistry between them was amazing and Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke did an awesome job giving the story life.

The combination of this author and narrators are absolutely perfect! This series is very sexy, funny, thrilling and just amazing! I’m sorry it’s over. All the brothers are beyond sexy and the woman are strong sexy beasts!!

The addition of Teddy’s MM story at the end was so delish!! I wanted more!

Thank you Jeanna for sharing your writing with us and choosing these narrators

Great story and excellent narration

Matt is the last in the Brothers in Blue series by Jeanne St. James and is a great addition to the series

This is the most emotional story of the series and the author handles a very sensitive topic (PTSD) with realism and care

Matt and Carly are both damaged souls and I was very much drawn into their emotional journey to their HEA.

Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas have been outstanding in this series. Their narration of their characters has been real and relatable. The bonus novella at the end of this audio was also an unexpected bonus too. Great series!

Brothers in Blue: Matt

Matt and Carly’s story is the third book of the series set in Manning Grove. Matt is back home from multiple tours in the military. Matt has joined the police force with his brothers Max and Marc. Carly is a doctor that Matt finds himself drawn to. Matt is closed off from his family and he is struggling to survive in his daily life due to PTSD. Matt and Carly agree to a causal relationship, yet it does not take long before they are fighting their feelings for each other. This is an especially touching story because not only do we get to witness Matt and Carly’s relationship develop, we also see how broken and vulnerable Matt is and his fight to get better for himself and for Carly.

A bonus with this book is that we also get "Teddy: A Brothers in Blue" Novelette. Getting a more personal glimpse into Teddy’s life was a joyful experience.

Great Book!!

Somehow, I had missed reading this book after I read the 1st two in this series. Shame on me!!!! This was an amazing book, I loved it!! I am so amazed of the women and men who suffer with, live with and manage life with PTSS and their families and loved ones. Books like these help make people aware of how difficult this can be. Loved this book. Oh and the extra special story of Teddy And Adam meeting was a cherry on top!!! And super job narrating by Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke. ❤❤❤❤
