Excellent complement to an introductory course in Data Science

I started listening to this book towards the end of a six-month course I was taking in Data Science. The book helped me gain a broader perspective of data science as a discipline and a career and complemented the technical learning I was getting from the course.
The career advice presented by the authors is invaluable, and I see myself returning to specific chapters in the future as I grow and transition in the field of Data Science.
I'm glad I listened to the book and I highly recommend it.

Good narration. Soft content.

Some of the middle to later content is general career development content and not specific to data science. That doesn’t really help. Book could have gone into so many related topics to data science that it could have been more useful.

Meh

Half of the book's content is the author telling you what you will learn in some other section. Once you get through all that fluff, the remaining advice is generic and should be common sense for anyone who has the skillet to be a data scientist.
