Publisher's summary

Ben Shapiro uncovers the simple strategy used by liberals and their friends in the media: bully the living hell out of conservatives. Play the race card, the class card, the sexism card. Use any and every means at your disposal to demonize your opposition - to shut them up. Then pretend that such bullying is justified because, after all, conservatives are the true bullies and need to be taught a lesson for their intolerance.

The left has created a climate of fear wherein ordinary Americans must abandon their principles, back abhorrent causes, and remain silent. They believe America is a force for evil, that our military is composed of war criminals, and that patriotism is the deepest form of treason. They incite riots and threaten violence by playing the race card, then claim they're advocates for tolerance. Disagree with Obama? You must be a racist. They send out union thugs and Occupy Wall Street anarchists to destroy businesses and redistribute the wealth of earners and job creators. No target is off limits as liberal feminists declare war against stay-at-home moms and gay activists out their enemies, destroy careers, and desecrate personal privacy.

Incredible

Unbelievably succinct way of illustrating the very deceptive and hypocritical political climate of today's world.

Great read. Great insight and analysis.

Great insight and analysis from Mr. Shapiro, as always. Uncovering the stories the left doesn't want to talk about.

So true!!

This book shines a spotlight on The hypocrisy of many liberals. It makes clear the hatred many on the left have against good Christian people and that they will stop at nothing to destroy anyone who has a different thought or opinion.

Enlightens readers on bullying tactics

Shapiro brilliantly describes the history and methods that leftist bullies employ to abuse those with differing opinions. If you want to understand better how each of us is pressured into compliance or silence, this is a great read.

It starts slow but gets better.

You did not think that I would finish this book after the first two chapters but I'm glad that I did. While Shapiro is slightly more derogatory in his description of a specific liberals than I would like, he makes brilliant points as usual.

interesting

As I listened to this book I also did research and found lots of merit to his points. I was completely unaware or all the things going on. it really opened my eyes. I like the fact doing research on Ben that he insisted on buying books from opposing side and listening to both sides. Funny I dont remember anyone really on the left ever suggesting that.

Enlightenment

As a centrist and former Democrat who left when they abandoned the peace loving and social good for all and allowed the alt-left be their mouthpiece. I didn't know where my party went, now I have an idea. Some things I disagree with but that is what is great, I can disagree.
