Publisher's summary

An artist's retreat turns into a snowbound intervention. Jeremy Oliver's on a one-man mission to forget, while Sarah Booker's on a one-woman mission to remember. What happens when two opposing forces like theirs get snowed in together? Cabin Fever...fireworks, tears, ghosts, and maybe even love.

This series gets better and better...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, its funny and its a real story here. I really like that characters are going through something and similar but at varied levels. They get stuck together in a cabin and become friends. But its the not the typical get locked away and spend the time in the bed getting to know each other. They really talk and form a bond.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cabin Fever?

The most memorable moment for me was when Sarah sees the ghost of Jeremy's wife and starts to talk to her about the painting that she drew of Jeremy. I also like the part when Jeremy accidentally sees the painting and is in awe.

What about Melissa Moran’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed her performance. I read book one and it was a dual narration...I didn't miss that at all in book two. Melissa carried the story very well.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love in New York 2: Destined to Be

Any additional comments?

Jeremy is seriously trying to drink/drug himself into forgetting his wife that died in a car accident while 9 months pregnant. The baby survived and Jeremy was not being a dad at all – he completely checked out. He disappears off the face of the earth because his family cannot find him so they can put him in rehab to take care of his newborn.

Sarah was a resident of Boston who lets go of her job, apartment and moves to NY to reconnect with her old friend and find happiness….remember her passion in art…find herself again. She connects with her BFF who tells her that she can get back to painting at a beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere.

Both of them end up in that Cabin. They really get to know each other. Heal by remembering old stories and hearing tough truths so they can get back to life – the freaky thing is…the ghost of the wife is kind of hunting them both. It’s really interesting. I’m not really into ghost stories but it was tastefully done and didn’t take away from the romantic comedy of the book.

This book was funny and full of love. There are ups and downs but I really liked how I was able to FEEL what they were going through. Kudos to Elle Casey and Melissa Moran…I would highly recommend it.
