Hard to put down

I loved the great characters, moments of humor and tugging on my heartstrings. Brian Wills is one of the best narrators I have heard, his accents, different character voices, and singing are wonderful. I look forward to more from this author and narrator combo.

A tad long in the telling…

But worth every word!
Well done, as usual there is a kind of confidence when choosing a Suzan Tisdale historical romance… and add Brad Wills and you have perfection. This one came with a gift, his gently humming lullaby.

I can’t say this is steamy, it’s full of sexual tension and chemistry but it’s essentially closed door. The violence, as in any medieval is graphic and gruesome but never for the sake of it. If it’s included it’s the facts of the times, not for some gruesome rating. And as always, it’s well done.

A credit well spent.

Sweet story with laughs & tears

I liked the characters and the story. I've read more powerful stories but this was a good enjoyable read. I would recommend this book.

Enjoyed but a little disappointed too

Enjoyed the story & the characters as much as the other books in the series. I was however disappointed there was no time taken to describe the love scenes in this particular one. I am also not a fan of children voices in audible books. To me, the voices are hard to understand and borderline creepy. Again, I still enjoyed this book as much as the others in this series.

Live her books

Her stories are amazing and the narrator is one of the most talented narrators I have heard read a story.

One of my favorites. Loved it.

Which character – as performed by Brad Wills – was your favorite?

Brad Wills performs this narration beautifully. His emotion and character voices were fantastic.

Any additional comments?

I loved this story. I found myself rooting for the hero and heroine. Suzan Tisdale delights her readers with this beautiful story. I could not stop listening to it for even a minute. I was so excited and filled with anticipation wondering what would happen next. A must have.

Clean romance

Good story about a strong woman, and a man falling in love when he never thought he could again.

I usually hate stories with dead wives or husbands, and this has both. But luckily their previous marriages were not great loves that made it hard for the MCs to compete against.

The narration was excellent. He did a fantastic job for both men and women and children. And his singing brought tears to my eyes. It was so good. Bravo, Brad Wills.
