Publisher's summary

A legacy like mine was never meant to be easy; shaky alliances, deals with the deathless, and an enemy far more powerful than previously believed all weigh heavily on my shoulders.

I’d hidden behind the mask of the Yaga for so long, I’d forgotten what it meant to be human. By claiming the fated mate bond with my Riders, I’ve rediscovered parts of myself I’d buried centuries ago, but I wonder if digging up the dead has its own consequences.

Our mission to unearth the key needed to stop The Devouring leads us deep into the decaying heart of humanity, but our greatest threat may come from within. As my men and I struggle to overcome the ghosts of our pasts, I pray we can learn to master our collective power - before it consumes us entirely.

I am Vasilisa, and I refuse to accept my fate.

The Yaga’s Riders series is based on the folklore of Baba Yaga, with creative liberties taken. It features mysterious forces, a legendary witch, multiple POV (including MM) and a cliff-hanger. It is intended for mature listeners.

One of my new fave authors.

These three books went by way too fast and I’m sad to learn this author doesn’t have any more on Audible. She is one of my new fave authors. I love all the twists on classic stories and classic romances.

What an ending!!

An amazing conclusion to an absolutely wild ride! The narrators really knocked it out of the park bringing C. Rochelle’s notorious spicy scenes, witty banter, and intriguing takes on folklore & mythology to life. I can’t recommend this series enough.

Narrators are magical

John Lane. *fans face* those accents just do it for me. Maxine Mitchell's Vasilisa was perfection.

Speechless

Where has Rochelle been all my life?!?! The story, the characters, the world she created was original and that’s really hard to do with the millions of books out there already. I was hooked from the beginning of book one. I loved this trilogy so much. I can’t wait to read and listen to her other work. And I can’t say enough about the narrators. I’m so glad I got to listen as well. They brought this story to life.

Wonderful All Around!

I loved the dynamic characters and relationships from book 1 to 3; the plot and action were great, intimate scenes were beautiful and graphic, and a terrific ending!

Love this series

I really enjoyed this series. I love RH but I love it even more when the story is great with it. I love love a spin-off from this book about a few of the other characters. Even stil I would love to learn more about the mean characters journey too.

It was ok.

I love the poly aspect of this series for sure. And the voice actors do a pretty great job. The talk between the men and Vasi just got sappy and I don’t personally like that. Plus any conflict that happens almost immediately gets resolved. Just not very deep writing. But hey, it was entertaining and enjoyable.
