A baby is dead, and Callie Stillman blames herself. Haunted by memories of a tiny coffin, Callie can't understand how God could expect her to put her heart on the line a second time. But the evasive little girl in her Sunday school class is so obviously in trouble that Callie finds her resolve cracking.
They can’t trust anyone.
Iris and Samantha Evans are living on borrowed time. Deserted, orphaned, betrayed, and deceived, they need rescuing in the worst way.
He’s praying for a miracle.

A collision course.

What I liked: it felt a little bit like every day life in the life of a Christian in modern Day America. So in that way, it was relatable for me.
I liked The friendship between the four women in the Bible Study. I liked the relationship between Callie and her husband.
I liked getting to know the characters.
What I didn’t like as much: in reality, I think it would’ve taken a lot more for Samantha and Iris, to trust, and to get through all of their problems.
The audio narration was pretty good, with a few minor technical problems .
