Publisher's summary

A string of dog thefts has struck Pomme Valley, a small, quiet town in southwestern Oregon. With no rhyme or reason to the thefts, the people of PV are determined to take whatever means necessary to protect their beloved pets. Enter one winery owner/romance author and his two famous corgis.

Zachary Anderson, along with Sherlock and Watson, have been asked to look into the case as official police consultants. The question on everyone's mind is, would everyone's favorite canine duo be able to sniff out the culprit and bring him/her to justice?

Join Zack and the dogs as they search for the missing canine companions and try to prevent panic from spreading in Pomme Valley!

Entertaining, funny and well-narrated

I've enjoyed all the Corgi Files thus far, but this latest audio offering is a favorite. Sherlock and Watson must nose out (pun intended) a dastardly dognapping ring in their Oregon community, but it's Zack Anderson, unintended owner of a local award-winning winery, who puts the pieces together to expose the perps. I love Zack's offbeat humor and the scene where he's forced by Sherlock and a local pet store owner to purchase a 'pizzle' - look it up! - is hilarious.

The story ends with a reference to Zack's late wife's death and now I'm anxious for book six to be released in audio format. No fair making us wait, Jeffrey and Bob!

I received a free copy of this title from Audiobook Boom and am leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Fun times again

They are at it again and just as adorable as before and they are a treat. Zach Anderson is not half bad either and you enjoy the tale and the antics of everybody involved. So when you get a chance pick up a copy and enjoy the story and the narration, which will have you laughing at some point.

"I was provided this audio book at no charge by the narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

I love Sherlock & Watson!

Sherlock and Watson are such a joy! I love this series? Because the characters blend Comedy with mystery & an immersive story. When I started this book I listened to the whole thing in 2 sittings because I couldn’t put it down!
This doesn’t have any murder, so for those who like a more “clean” mystery, this is your book!

Great Series

Zack, Sherlock and Watson have done it again. For this capper someone was taking dogs in a park. Playing ball with your pooch well think again. But with these three on the case it soon gets sorted out and safe to play ball again.
I am really enjoying this series. It is a cute cozy mystery and a well written one as well. Bob Johnson is the narrator for this series and he is wonderful. I have only listened to this series but I feel that Bob Johnson adds a layer of extreme interest in the story for me. Bob's voice is easy to listen to and not distracting from the story. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review. Well honestly give it a listen you will not be disappointed.

I think the Corgi Case Files are ALL my favorite.

Honestly I have always had a hard time finishing books, but the Corgi Case Files have kept me interested, invested in the characters and wanting more. I own 2 Corgi's of my own, Sherlock and Watson are the written copies of both.

Light and Fun

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review and all opinions expressed herein are mine.

This is the fourth book in the Corgi Case Files. It is a standalone story and you do not need to have read any of the prior books in the series to enjoy this one. However, this book, while light and fun, is not the strongest of the four but still worth enjoying as part of the series. I would recommend starting with the first book to get the real flavor of the characters.

Here, Zach with his two corgis, Sherlock and Watson, learn of a dog napping ring. The problem is that the thieves steal different breeds of dogs and it seems very random. When the Police Chief's grandaughter has her dog stolen, the pressure increases to find the dognappers.

I am a sucker for cozies, especially cozies with animals. This is a great series - lots of good humor and a great MC in Zach. The weakness in this story was the reasoning behind the dognapping seemed flimsy. There's still plenty of laughs with the antics of Sherlock and Watson and intrigue involving Zach and his deceased wife.

The narrator, Bob Johnson, is very good, has great pacing and comic delivery.

This is my second book i have read in this series and both are fantastic. I will definitely continue with this series. The narrator Bob Johnson does a fabulous job. Dogs and Deeres and Detectives!

dogs, pets, dognappers, cozy-mystery, law-enforcement *****

Can't be an unbiased review because it has dogs, cops, and a John Deere tractor!
Someone is stealing purebred pet dogs in Pomme Valley including a child's service dog! What's even worse, the same thing happened in nearby Medford a few years ago. Zach might not be a detective, but his good friend Vance is as are Zach's pet Corgis, Sherlock and Watson. Zach tells the story of the investigation and how he came to buy an additional thirty five acres of land and a great big specialized John Deere. A good investigation with lots of red herrings and a twist or three.
The audio is performed by narrator Bob Johnson with the pleasant voice and easy interpretation of the interesting characters.

When Vance’s dog Anubis and the chiefs daughters therapy dog are includes in the dog napped canines, it gets serious. Who are the suspects? You may be surprised! Another excellent listen expertly narrated with an added cliffhanger! I must hear the next one audible! Get on it! Love the series!
