Publisher's summary

Author's disclaimer: This series is a continuation of my Watcher series of books. The minimum listening requirements are: the Watchers Trilogy, the Watcher Chronicles, and Caylin's Story.

Alternate Earth is a world Jess always considered a part of her past, not the way leading to her future. When she began to have a recurring nightmare about it, she knew destiny was urging her to go back there. For five long years, Jess and Mason have struggled to assemble the right combination of travelers fated to journey back to this altered reality with them. Now, they’re down to finding the final member for their party, whose presence will allow the vessels to open a dimensional gateway back to alternate Earth.

Jess’ dreams have shown her a world on the brink of Armageddon. All of the signs point to the possibility that the Princes of Hell have already started opening the seven seals they stole from Heaven. Black banners embossed with an ominous red dragon now adorn the landscape, indicating that someone, other than the Watchers, is now in control of alternate Earth. Who this new power is and how they rose to supremacy so quickly is a mystery her dreams haven’t revealed. Jess is only certain of one thing. The people on alternate Earth are in dire need of the help only she and her friends can provide. Maybe, if she can find her way back, she can prevent the terrified screams of millions and finally silence her own.

Ended in the middle of the story

not sure why the story ended like it did, I was very disappointed because I know how good her other books are and with the books costing so much I just felt like she said a whole lot of stuff that could have been put together with maybe her next book in the series. just really disappointed!

Amateur Performance

I could hear all of the little background noises, like chair squeaking. Also, odd pauses mid-sentence.

Good story line bad narration

Good continuation of the story although I found this book out of the 10 previous booms in the series to be a little slow. The narration wasn't very good. It was Very hard to distinguish between character making it hard to keep up with the story because of it. I disliked the fact that after 10 books with the exception of Adiens story they changed narrators, ruining the book for me. And another frustrating fact is that you can't get a the books in the series on audible so to continue the series I have to either by a book or get a kindle.

we need the original narrator back up

I have read all of these books. I have loved all of these books until this one. I don’t know if I can continue the series because of the narrator. I am sure she is a very lovely woman and very nice and kind but this is not the job for her! I am so sad because I love these books but I can’t continue the series with this narrator, it has totally ruined my love for this book I don’t know if there is a way to have someone else narrate them, but that needs to happen and to the narrator I’m sorry I but what were you doing? You can hear background noise you can hear water, your chair, beeping, I have no idea what was going on but I could hear so much of your background noise that it was so distracting!

A little disappointed

This is a different narrator and I don't like the change in all the princes names. I know tomato/tomato but it's hard to distinguish previous characters. Bail or Ball really hard to keep up.

Great Story, bad performance

The story is as good as the previous ones. Unfortunately the person reading made it extremely hard to listen to. Very poor breath control and stumbling over words. She didn't cultivate enough difference between the voices for the different characters. Very sloppy work.
