About this listen

"…by small and simple things are great things brought to pass…” (Alma 37:6)

Christina Andrews, a beautiful college student from a small town in Kansas, is only one insignificant person out of billions of people inhabiting the planet. Not long after settling into her college dorm, she’s dating three attractive men. Christina’s never spent much time dwelling on her past, but when it comes time to make eternal decisions, the fact that her father was a rapist takes center stage. How can she listen to the whisperings of the Spirit when her father was a criminal? Will she be able to step aside from her past to make the decisions that will ultimately save many lives, and will she be able to find the kind of love that lasts forever?"

the narrator drove me crazy.

my kids could do a better job narrating than this guy. it really distracted me from the story too.

Read the Book! - Don't listen to it.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm not sure the book isn't for me, but I tried to listen to it - big mistake. I'll probably by the ebook and finish the story. I enjoy LDS novels and the good old fashion values.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

No comment - I haven't finished it yet.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tim J. Gracey?

The audio book wasn't really narrated. Nothing against his voice, but I felt like I was listening to someone read me the book to me. Sorry but I found it boring.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Change of Heart: An LDS Novel?

Any additional comments?

As I've already stated I haven't finished the audio book yet. I'll buy the ebook and finish it. the audio book will be returned - unfinished. My recommendation is don't buy the audio, just by the book. If your ebook reads to you, it's pretty much the same as the audio book.

Narration is not good.

What would have made Change of Heart: An LDS Novel better?

A better reader

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I liked the story but it was painful to listen to

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tim J. Gracey?

A woman for one thing; it is a story told by a woman. Also someone who does better with inflection and dramatization.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Nice story.
