Charity immediately falls in love with all the storybook town has to offer – except its sexy, famous, world-class cyclist Josh Golden. Yes! If they are looking for a fun and romantic listen then this series is a good one!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Charity is my favorite. She is smart, pretty, and hard working.

What does Tanya Eby bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like her narration. She does a great job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have I probably would have but very rarely do I have time to sit and listen to any book all in out sitting.

Love a good romance!

Another winner from Susan Mallory. The performance was ok but the story was really good.

Beautiful start to a great series! This series is one that is built around a small town and each book centers around a couple. Every book intertwines and I love that. This first set with Josh appearing to be the perfect play boy and Charity looking to settle down - they're destined to fail or are they? I love a true love story and this is that.

Love this series! Wonderful start!

A little too perfect & too predictable...names like Charity & Josh "Golden", seriously? Wraps up too quick & too tidy...still enjoyable.

Predictable

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This wasn't the most enjoyable audiobook I've listened to, but I enjoyed the story enough to listen through till the end. It wasn't as good as some of Susan Mallery's other books (the Buchanan series), but wasn't awful.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have made the main character less obstinate. There were times she was so dense I wanted to smack her.

What didn???t you like about Tanya Eby???s performance?

Where do I begin? My biggest problem with it was that this narrator is not a story-teller. She reads words with great diction, but little feeling. And when she does express some emotion, it was often the wrong one. She read with different voices for the characters, but didn't provide any difference in inflection, tone or personality to distinguish them. Every character was read as if they were at a job interview. At an elementary school. It was weird.

Okay Story, Awful Narration
