From the best-selling author comes a deliciously feel-good story about making your dreams come true, set in sun-kissed southern Italy.

A summer escape she'll never forget....

Lucia has worked hard as a lawyer in Wales, aiming for a big promotion she hopes will shortly come her way. Finally taking a well-earned break at her grandparents' house in southern Italy, the sunshine, lemon trees and her nonna's mouth-watering cooking make her instantly feel at home.

But she's shocked to learn that her grandfather is retiring from the beloved family pizzeria and will need to sell. Lucia can't bear the thought of the place changing hands - especially when she discovers her not-quite-ex-husband, Giacomo, wants to take it over!

Then bad news from home forces Lucia to re-evaluate what she wants from life. Is this her chance to carry on the family tradition and finally follow her dreams?

Perfect escapism from the author of Escape to the French Farmhouse and The Honey Farm on the Hill.

(((FINALLY))) A FEEL GOOD BOOK WITH ALL THE FEELS. Loved it!

I was looking for a CLEAN and REFRESHING storyline that didn’t make me uncomfortable. (PG rating I’d say.) I needed a mental escape that would take me to Italy in my mind with a feel good story attached. After returning 2 books that were laced with profanity and sexual situations that took away from the narrative. I was so happy to have found an author that could actually keep my attention by writing a great novel with an interesting plot, a beautiful setting and a story line with values, without the smut. (Ironically the opening line is a curse word but there was not a single bad word for the rest of the book.) This book was a mental vacation and escape to Italy. The Narrator Gwyneth Keyworth was awesome!!! She made the story come alive in a way that makes me wish they’d turn this book into a movie. She was brilliant & my 5 stars go equally towards her too. I sincerely enjoyed the positive vibes from the author on how we must keep going in life despite obstacles and overcome adversity. I loved the role women played in this book and their camaraderie. This is also a foodie story that reminded me of the movie “The 100 Foot Journey” so if you liked that movie then you’ll love this book. I certainly did!!! I was so impressed by this author that I’m going to choose another of hers and hope it’s as good.

Predictable

Very predictable. More story development would have been appreciated as well as description of the town and the people. Veronica’s story seemed unfinished.
