- The myth of the sun and the moon.
- Cultural aspects of ancient oriental society.
- Amazing facts about Confucius and Confucianism.
- Buddhism and its role in China and mythology.
- Stories about gods, heroes, stars, and saints.
- And so many other things.
Please, do yourself a favor and begin your journey to the far distant land of the oriental hemisphere, and embark on a ship to the unknown. Fascinating fables and memorable myths will await you.

Anyway, about the content: Really good. Good historical background stories, and very important to learn about the Chinese culture in the time of the myths and heroes before diving into a lot of the stories that would be hard to understand without a prelude of that background. I think this book is a great introductory addition to perhaps future books in the series (Are more of them coming, John Feisel?) and that it's worth every penny. Thanks.

Chinese mythology is something we are not always familiar with, as much as we like to admit that we're stuck in our own world here. The gods and legends and interesting facts and creatures... there is too much to name. It seems like there actually IS more to mention that just what's in this book, which already constitutes 3+ hours, almost 4. So it's a good way to start. That's for sure.
Overall, a great job compiling the information and a great job bringing it to life with the right voice.
