The Vikings

You can learn more from this than watching the "Train your dragon" thing on Disney plus. In fact, there are so many things in here I didn't know yet. About Odin, Thor, Hel, Freya, and Ragnar Lothbrok (the last one is not a god or goddess, but a legendary figure.)

I loved the narration, and I loved the way it was all explained in a lively way. Ron Carver definitely put some work into this, so that we can enjoy it. 5 stars? Yeah, sure. It's very good, so why not?

I love stuff like this. I have some other mythology books and all from different areas of the world. Vikings are great. This book shows what they believed in. Nice.

Interesting

I thought I knew so much about vikings and their gods and stuff. I guess there was still a lot that I didn't. In a way, these mythology books are like stories. It's a weird mix of fiction and nonfiction. They're fiction stories, but it's something that the people back then believed in. And in this book, they also reveal some of the historical context and background that is associated with those myths and sagas. The people didn't make it up for no reason. They all had circumstances that prompted them to do so. So it's very fascinating to learn more about that.

The narrator did great too. I enjoyed listening to the narrator's voice.
