Not what was expected... in a good way
I enjoyed this book. This was the first I heard from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. SPOILER: I did not like the whole old polygamist king cradle robbing part, I found that disgusting.

Will love win?
I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Selena Scott has written a book with intriguing plot development and fascinating character development. This story instantly captivated me and held my attention throughout this book. Amos is torn between his love for Lucy and his loyalty to his king who just wants her for a breeder. If he goes against the king, he will be killed. Ms Scott also gives us an Oracle that will help guide them and also make the listener chuckle. Meghan Kelly does an outstanding job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. You will think that you're listening to a dual narration because her male voices are so realistic and great. She gives the characters distinctive voices and brings them to life. She is an amazing storyteller and such a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommended this Audible book for your listening enjoyment.

Fantastic PNR & Narration🎧 Captivating & Enjoyable
This is a fantastic paranormal romance, it is well written and well told. Selena Scott created an imaginative world, with interesting storylines and characters that are complex and well developed. Lucy, living her life on earth until one night she gets thrown into another world, a world of dragon shifters. She is what the king wants, the perfect genetics to breed strong shifters. Amos, the king’s bodyguard is attracted to Lucy, he is sworn to serve the King but feels more for Lucy than he does for his King. This story is well plotted, there is never a dull moment, there is drama, angst, action, twists, great world dynamics and some steamy hot romance. Selena Scott, thank you for this great story, I am looking forward to what comes next in The Dragon Realm series, I hope it comes to audible soon.
I listened to the Audible edition, Meghan Kelly is a fantastic narrator and a talented voice artist. She brings these characters to life, giving each their own unique voice and personality, it is amazing how well she covers and performs both the male and female parts. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she projects the characters emotions and the drama of the story into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen🎧

Great Story!!
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I love Amos and Lucy!! Amos is the bodyguard to the dragon King and Lucy is the perfect candidate to provide the King offspring. Amos and Lucy are destined to be together. Great story line and great characters. This is the first book in The Dragon Realm Series, a dragon fantasy romance. Lucy and Amos story is fun, action packed, and steamy. The characters are great and the storyline is entertaining, and well paced. I enjoyed it. Meghan Kelly did a great job with the narration.

A chosen great listen
This audio story will grab your attention and have you glued till the very end . The author wrote a pair , hero and heroine, that is strong, well developed, and the narrator, Meghan Kelly nailed it .
The story is well written , there are a lot of hot scenes.
Hero is Amos. Heroine is Lucy.
Lucy and Amos have a connection, that is a insta love . They were not suppose to be together but once Amos sees the human Lucy he doesn’t want to leave her . Amos is suppose to guard Lucy and bring her to the king . The king thinks that a human and mostly Lucy will bring him strong heirs . But once Amos sees Lucy his dragon wants to claim Lucy .
Meghan performance was beyond believe . She brought the characters to life. It seemed you were right in there beside them

Hot dragon romance
Lucy is snatched from home against her will to produce children for the dragon king, in the hopes of strengthening the royal blood line. Lucy has no interest in becoming a breeder for any one and the more time around the dragon king, the more distasteful she finds him.
Amos is a guard for the kind is assigned to protect Lucy. He has been bred to protect and obey his king at any cost.Even though he knows Lucy has been selected for the king, his dragon had recognized her as its mate.
With the immediate attraction between the two, how will they be able to be together and disobey the king? This is a steamy shifter romance that packs a lot of story in a quick listen. The story is well written and narrated.
I was given this audio book at my request and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion in this review.

OMG
OMG... I Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved this book. It was such a funny and cute little book. I LOVED the oracles character. He sounded like a surfer dude. It was perfect. And Lucy sounded so sweet. The narrator did an excellent job. And the way the author set up the next book... it sounds like it's going to really good. I cant wait to listen to more!!

Heat, Fire, and Romance
The Dragon Realm books are a quick listen with alpha males and plenty of heat. I like the world she is creating and can't wait to see what she has for book 2.
