I enjoyed listening to this book. I have not listened or read any books by this author but I would definitely get another book by her. The characters were lovely and very easy to identify with. I liked the give and take between the main characters. They had to grow and learn about themselves before finding happiness with each other. I liked most of the secondary characters as well. The narrators were great. I believe both could of read the book on their own and still bring life to each character. They worked well together and I would be delighted to listen to either of them read another book. I would highly recommend this holiday story to anyone who enjoys Christmas romances.

fun holiday book

This was a sweet, thoughtful, fun short story. Chloe is a warm, loving woman that had gone through some sad times that ended up mapping out the present life she was living. Dylan is a wonderful father, Understanding, loving, and trying to do the best he can. Chloe and Dillon just hit it off as soon as they meet but then of course life, exes, worries from the past get in the way. Dillon‘s children are so wonderful to read about and they’re so thrilled with the holidays and all the things that go with that. It’s a really good premise for a story, I liked not just the main characters but the side characters and the plot. I wasn’t sure how they were going to wrap everything up but the author did a really great job and gave us a happily ever after.

Wonderful story

This book like others heard this year missed its purpose of being a really good book. At least, I think authors have that purpose in mind when writing a book. The characters, location, season, plot were all right there but with no sizzle, no pop, no development. Dylan peeled carrots is boring.
Perhaps it was the narrators, especially the male who was a monotone whether peeling carrots or fighting with ex-wife. I did complete the book because it is the season of hope.
