About this listen

The stunning finale of the Project Nemesis trilogy from New York Times best-selling author Brendan Reichs.

The 64 members of Fire Lake's sophomore class have managed to survive the first two phases of the Program - and each other. Now, they alone have emerged into the dawn of a new era on Earth, into a Fire Lake valley that's full of otherworldly dangers and challenges. Although staying alive in this broken world should force Min, Noah, Tack, and the others to form new alliances, old feuds die hard, and the brutality of the earlier Program phases cannot be forgotten. But being a team isn't easy for the sophomores, and when they discover that they may not be alone on the planet after all, they'll have to decide if they're going to work together...or die together.

What. A. Ride.

This is the best book of the Nemesis Trilogy, by far. The story line takes more twists and turns than a country road while the characters are as real as the kid next door. Give yourself the gift of listening to the first two books, Nemesis and Genesis so that you can fully appreciate the depth of this book.

What an ending

The third book of the trilogy does not disappoint. Just when you think you have the story figured out another twist or turn comes up to set back our group of main characters. It is just layers upon layers of deceptions and stories in this book but it all works out in one big giant kaboom. The storyline is so awesome, totally weird and complex yet also simple enough that it just works. If you have listened this far in the series you have grown to love our characters just as much as I did and you were rooting for them every step of the way. They are just as real, hilarious and vulnerable as the first two books. There are even some new additions to our group that you will learn to love just as much. You will feel a lot of mixed emotions through this one and what a great job on the apologue. Probably my favourite part of the entire series. I do think this is the end for this series but one can hope that something comes out of it because this has been one of my favorites. The performance of the dual narration is just fantastic. Both were perfect for their roles in this series and just consistently kept getting better and better as the books went on. There are many characters throughout all three books that had to be voiced and they were all done very well, it was easy to tell who is talking and when they stop. There’s so much tension in this book from start to finish and the performances really add to this making you want to listen more and more. This is bittersweet as I am disappointed the series is over however extremely happy with the way it ended.

I loved the Nemesis series, but was not satisfied with this final book. Maybe it was just that I didn't want it to end..... I'm looking forward to more from Brendan Reichs.

Excellent Series Ending!

I thoroughly enjoyed this 3 book series! It never let me down with all the twists and turns and even in the final conclusion! This is something that I wish they would turn into a miniseries! What a ride!
