About this listen

Something sinister is lurking in the small farming town of Clifton Falls. With the struggle to make ends meet, the locals are excited when a new chemical fertilizer is tested on their crops. But when a crazy rainstorm washes the fertilizer onto a recently deceased homeless man, he is brought back to life with a hunger for human flesh. And he's not the only one.

In another part of town, a grieving son uses the fertilizer on his mother's grave, only to awaken another undead monster. As the zombie outbreak spreads, it's up to police officer Mike O'Sullivan and his team to stop the virus before it reaches the cemetery.

Filled with intense horror and dark humour, this book will take you on a wild ride through Clifton Falls, where the residents are fighting for their lives against a new enemy.

If you enjoyed books like "The Walking Dead" or "World War Z," you won't want to miss this spine-tingling tale.

Great book. I definitely recommend it.

Great story and narrator performance. It was an interesting take on the zombie apocalypse genre. I enjoyed listening to how a small town in England dealt with the rising dead. I already downloaded the second book. The recording itself was not the best quality. It felt like I was listening to it on my 1980s cassette player.

A refreshing take on the zombie genre

A refreshing take on the zombie genre. I wouldn't say I am an aficionado of zombies but ive read enough and saw enough books and movies to get really bored with the same tropes. There are some nice subtle things that Taylor illustrates well, that differentiates this from the same old story. looking forward to part 2!

Zombies

Loved the story and how some characters don't realize that the zombies are zombies. Can't wait for part two.

A great story!

Zombie stories, get creepier when the zombies have intelligence, and the creatures in this book remember! That is awesome! I really enjoyed this book.
