About this listen

When the US Air Force loses contact with an experimental drone carrying a classified weapon system over a remote section of the Ouachita Mountain Range of eastern Oklahoma, a team of elite Pararescue personnel are sent in to recover the asset. After the entire team and the helicopter sent to extract them vanish without a trace, it is discovered that a highly-aggressive, hairy, bipedal hominid is responsible for the attack. Code Name: Wild Hunt is called in to handle the paranormal threat.

The Wild Hunt is a covert group of Special Forces operatives that are recruited from all branches of the US military for highly specialized and classified missions pertaining to paranormal threats to humanity. With the increasing frequency of attacks, the Wild Hunt is split across four zones of the United States, with four teams operating in each zone. Teams are named after Hunting Deities with each zone representing a different pantheon. Due to the volatile nature of the missions and potential for panic in the general populace, the Special Operations Group known as the Wild Hunt does not formally exist in any government or military records.

Dispatching Team Odin, they soon discover that it wasn’t just one creature. They find themselves caught in the middle of a conflict between two clans of Bigfoot-like creatures embroiled in a territorial dispute. Creatures that they quickly learn are far more intelligent than originally anticipated. To make matters worse, they find themselves trapped by one of the worst snowstorms on record.

Can Team Odin locate any survivors of the original Pararescue team, as well as secure the missing drone? Or will they, too, fall prey to the same creatures?

Great listen!! Wow!

This book had me on the edge of my seat. DA Roberts did a great job writing this and Mr. Cam Buchner’s narration was flawless. Bravo, gentlemen.

Great story! Found a new fave author!

WOW!!! What a ride. This book was amazing. I never knew a Sasquatch story could be so involved & interesting. I have to say that the best part is that whether or not you're into Sasquatch this book was just outstanding. I couldn't stop listening but was constantly checking the time left because I didn't want it to end. The author did such a good job making it all seem like these creatures could definitely be a part of our reality. Can't wait to check out the rest of his stuff!! So glad Cam Buckner from Dixie Cryptid narrated. He introduced me to the author when they collaborated on his Steve Lilly stories! I felt connected to & invested in the characters & outcome. Kudos to the author. Keep them coming. You have a new follower! 👏👏👏

Yhe Wild Hunt is a wild story

D.A. Roberts does an awesome job bringing you into the story of a covert military team sent out to deal with pretty crazy threats. it's a fun and fast high octane ride all the way to the end.

the narrator, Cameron Buckner, has a fantastic voice for military based stories. some of the Norse pronunciations are a little bit off, but let's be honest we all get those wrong! looking forward to more from Cameron Buckner!

Great Cryptid material

It is the start to what could be a great series. Now, if we can get the rest released in audio form.

Awesome story!

Wild Hunt is a fun story! D.A. & Cam are the dynamic duo! I can hardly wait for the next book to come out on audio! Don't pay attention to any negative reviews, if you like a good Bigfoot story, this is one of the best!

Loved it!

Took me a while to warm up to the narrator, but then I really enjoyed him. The story was awesome as well. I wish there was a sequel on Audible.

DA Roberts & Cameron Bruckner 2nd 2 None

Great writing on DA part,
Great reading on Cameron part,
I love this book listen to it several times, while I work, getting ready for bed and while out fishing.
Turned a few of my family and friends on to DA books and everytime we see each other it's all we talk about. The only issue I have is that there isn't more books of DA Roberts on here. There is a few more but I want to listen to all of his books.
