Starts strong, but slows down in plot

So, there is something marvelous in all sea sagas about when the protagonist receives his first ship. This nivel introduces us to Teazer, a ship to savour and delight in. Unfortunately, the Peace of Amiens interferes with our shared joy of coming to know Teazer. I look forward to Future opportunity to ship out w Kydd!

The Hero Continues to Progress

Kidd gets his own ship. Granted, not very big, but still quite a step. This was well done again, and very entertaining.

I love the Kydd books

The last quarter of the book was a bit out of place. But good none the less.

The adventure continues

A pleasing continuation of the great adventure of Tom Kydd and Nicholas Ramsey. The Narration continues to be excellent

Great book!!

Just as good as the first time I read it 15 years ago!
Unlike Quarterdeck and Tenacious, this Audible book had no trouble at all with Immersion Reading with the book version. The writing and the audio stayed in sync throughout the whole book!

Ok

The book was alright. Christian Rodska does a great job narrating and keeping his characters in order and getting through nautical sea speak that might be otherwise challenging to read. I have read the previous novels and am still struggling to get through this series. I may skip a book or two and see if the character development improves. Will advise!

Not the best of this series

I enjoy this series, but this book has been the least satisfying so far. Stockwin takes our hero very far afield from Naval service in a variety of improbable adventures.
