About this listen

Did you know that American history is peppered with cases of human experimentation?

Could you in your wildest dreams imagine that it was happening through the mid-1970s? That is in most of our lifetimes!

I wish I could tell you that it's a load of crap, but the fact is...it's true. Supported by dozens of declassified documents and publications, horrible human testing can be corroborated throughout our history. Conspiracy Fact: Human Experimentation in the United States introduces you to a number of appalling cases involving the most vulnerable members of society.

The book documents a handful of cases taking place between the 1840s and 1970s. That's right, for over a century, these atrocities were regularly happening. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

You will discover the names of doctors who performed tests on United States citizens without their knowledge or consent. You will hear about cases of the poor, minorities, pregnant women, and infants - even military personnel were not safe from their probes and needles. That's not all; there's an addendum and a wealth of sources where the information was found.

This is the first book in a series called Conspiracy Facts Declassified that will take an in-depth look at our world and attempt to decode fact from fiction.

Disturbing truths about our government

The only issue I take with this book is that it has he word conspiracy in the title. It should read as EXPOSED. The facts presented here are not bits of information that have been cobbled together in the hopes of advancing some preposertous theory involving a grassy knoll or a book depository. Nope, these are verified items that actually occured and out to terrify you, because if you think that these things ended years ago, you'd better think again. When a govt. acts with impunity and has no fear of the damage it does to its citizens then why would they ever stop? They might not announce their intentions now, but I'm willing to bet that somewhere out there there are prisoners receiving medical treatments that are not "healthy." This book details numerous violation of the public trust, and the destruction of numerous lives whether it was via outright death, mutilation/disfigurement or something else altogether that was caused by the hands of individuals that should have been trustworthy or respected competent people in their fields. This is nightmare fuel when you actually consider the implications. I will say this, somehow, Gilbert's narration manages to numb the shock to some extent. Yes, the truth is terrifying, but her voice is pleasant enough that it lessens the blow. She manages to read this in a straightforward manner that tells the facts, and provide some sympathy towards the victims. She manages to dull the pain of the message. Excellent job! I would suggest this book to anyone who thinks that our officials are beyond reproach, that we should trust our elected officials unconditionally, or believe that something like this could ever happen to them. Wake up, read the TRUTH!

Depressing but true

I don’t doubt this as some sick opportunists in this world as well as saints. Just really sad. Much of this crazy type of stuff is still pretty normal around the world. But it is hopeful that things are changing for the better as people become less close minded, more educated and aware with the help of the internet and speaking out on social media.

Too much speculation

It would have been better if it stuck with the historical facts and didn’t try to use them to try (and fail) to support current conspiracy theory. The facts are interesting. The rest is annoying.
