About this listen

Suppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence, and God would provide clear, understandable answers? It happened to Neale Donald Walsch.

Conversations with God is Neale Donald Walsch's account of his direct conversations with God, beginning in 1992 while Walsch was immersed in a period of deep depression. He composed a letter to God in which he vented his frustrations, and much to his surprise, even shock, God answered him.

Focusing on the universal truths that influence all life, Conversations with God offers a picture of the could be better. Conversations with God challenges us to push past the imagined boundaries of what we believe ourselves capable and look instead to all that we can attain as co-creators with God.

Critic reviews

"Conversations with God contains a wisdom I believe we all have inside us but don't stop to listen to. Neale Walsch stopped, listened, and transcribed that word." (Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of Love, Medicine, and Miracles)

interesting if you keep an open mind

If you are open to new concepts in Religion this is quite interesting. If you are a die hard bible thumper-don't bother. This will be blastphemy to you. I found it to be great listening and something to think about. Some areas make a lot of sense.

The most inspiring affirmative book I read

Where does Conversations with God, Book 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was very inspiring and shade new light into my crazy life that keeps running in dead lock. Also it was very affirmative in that I confirms a lot of what I believed in but seen as odd behaviors by most others. It give me new guidelines to improve my life however it does give a lot my questions too.

What did you like best about this story?

That we are one and love is the answer. No religion is better than the other, all masters of the past was all real. different masters was sent to enlighten difference race or culture. You are your own master, and your the one to decide what you want to be. Just make up your mind and than staying with it. God will provide whatever you seek. And trust me, he/she answered.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Male God

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

God really listens and he is always with you. No sh*t!

Loved the books.

The books blew my mind when they first came out, so the chance to experience them via audio was extremely enticing. I was, however, disappointed with the choices for narration. As deeply engaging the topics covered were, I felt the voices of Burstyn and Asner kept the feeling and flow of the book one dimensional. I was hoping to hear God's voice in different ways: perhaps young adult, or a person with an accent. But unfortunately I could only hear Charlton Heston and God's voice from the 10 Commandments.

I did enjoy the interviews at the end and they helped expand new ideas and perspectives for me.

One of the most inspiring books I've ever read. <3

If you want a book to touch your heart, this is the one for you. It echoed my every thought on my own personal spiritual viewpoints. To say it is a must read is an understatement. Thank you Neale. Thank you with every cell in my body and every molecule of my soul. God Bless.

I enjoyed my Conversation with God

I have become endeared to Neale D Walsch, Ellen Burnstyn, and Edward Azner as a result of listening to their interpretation. It was beautifully done! But more than this I have finally developed a relationship with God , and Love God,Life and everything all the more, since reading this book on Audible.

Life Changing!

What did you love best about Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1?

I really enjoyed the clarity in which the book was written and the way it was read by the author, Ed and Ellen. I've read other books on the subject but could not understand a lot of the material. This was well delivered and received. A must read!

What other book might you compare Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1 to and why?

None. It's in a category by itself.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Humor and personalities. This was one book that I enjoyed narrated more than just reading it myself (I've done both many times).

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Everything was an AHA moment! I just got it, finally.
