About this listen

A mail-order bride struggling to overcome grief, and the cowboy determined to help her heal by lassoing her heart...

Eliza Jane Ferrell can’t bear the thought of marrying any man besides the beau she lost in the war. Poverty, however, along with the pickpocket who’s been hounding her, ultimately convince her to become a mail-order bride.

The letter from Rancher Keegan Ford's sassy bride-to-be sounds promising, with one exception. She makes it clear from the start that her heart will never belong to him. It’s a challenge he can’t resist. How hard can it be for one hat-wearing, horse-riding, cattle-roping cowboy to capture his sad and lonely mail-order bride's heart?

the instant connection.

I don't care for the virtual voice. sometimes the nuance of the speech seems false. happy expressions are flat.

An exciting conclusion to this trilogy

Again, the story was exciting enough to make up for the mispronunciations of the virtual voice. Knowing that there were six young women who needed new beginnings, it was good to have them all provided for. I don’t want to give away plot twists, but there were some. The author did a good job of giving the characters distinctive personalities, too.

Plot was ok

Virtual voice is awful, plot ok a bit hard to follow story with so many characters. Quick paced.
