Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando brings you the thrilling first book in the Fast & Fury series, fully loaded with intense emotions and edge-of-your-seat suspense.

After losing her job, saying goodbye to a lifelong dream and having an all-around cruddy year, Bronte Pierce needs a break. A job at Fast & Fury might be just the thing to reset her life, even though she knows nothing about custom motorcycles. But taking a job isn’t the same as keeping it, and her fresh start quickly turns into a fresh nightmare.

Starting with her boss. Crow is hardheaded, stubborn and brutally honest. He may be easy on the eyes, but he runs with a motorcycle club and he’s anything but friendly to Bronte. She suspects he has a softer side — just not for her.

Her whole life, Bronte has known that the only person she can truly count on to save the day is herself. But when a single murder turns into a conspiracy and the threat to her life is more than she can handle alone, it’s Crow who comes through — and her newfound family might just become her greatest strength.

Good biker romance

Interesting character development, good narration, a few cheesy bits, overall a feel-good ending story.

A Good Crow

This was book 1 in the " Fast & Fury" series this series is a spin off of the "Knights of Fury" . Bronte Pierce has just lost a job that she loves while at her dad's house she finds out that she has a cousin that she didn't know she has her uncle Neville didn't know he had a daughter and she hooks her up with a job. Fast & Fury is a custom motorcycle shop that is owned and run by bikers members of the Knights. The shop is run by Crow a hot sexy biker who she is sure doesn't like her. Bronte has a lot going on in her world when her father is killed she finds out that her father and her uncle are drug kingpins and everyone knew but her. Bronte is determined to find out what happened to her father turns out he was set up by a woman he was seeing he was killed by her ex. Crow who has been by her side since her dad died was very patient with her. These two has some hot sexy scenes. I liked how the secondary characters were there for her including her best friend Billie who was mistaken for her. I read and listened to this book the narration was very good. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Narrator makes the story even better.

How can you not love Stella Bloom. She brings a bit of whimsey to the characters that make them interesting and when there are serious situations she has that covered too. The story moves at a good clip and is an easy fun listen

Sad but strong and beautiful romance

I fell in love with Crow in the way that he took care of Bronte when her life fell apart all around her.
Bronte lost her job, a family member and a friend in a short time.
She gets a new job at a specialized motorcycle business (she knows nothing about motorcycles) run by an MC, meets her surly boss, Crow that eventually becomes her rock when her life falls apart around her and many lies get exposed.
Many tragedies and mysteries, while Bronte is dealing with her own personal demon and fears, an amazing love relationship develops between Bronte and Crow.
There is so much this book has in store for the reader/listener, and for a little while you can live Bronte's life.
The narrator is superb and makes sure the story comes to life.

Not the best

Having listened to other series from Chantal Fernando I felt this one was a little on the weak side.. didn’t go into detail like some of her other series… a bit average and quiet disappointing.

Good MC story

Bronte has to move back to her hometown when she’s laid off from her job as assistant to a private investigator. Thanks to a new-found cousin, she gets a job at a custom motorcycle shop that is owned by an MC. Crowe runs the shop and doesn’t want to get involved with the new receptionist but the chemistry is palpable. When it becomes apparent that Bronte is the target of a drug lord, Crowe and the MC step up to protect her. Pretty fast paced story with a cute HEA.

Dramatic romance

The main character suffers a lot of loss. She gets through it with the love and support of Crow and her friends. Great story with a HEA.
