This is one is a series of cozy mysteries written by one of my favorite authors. The story takes place in England where the protagonist, a young adult woman, is trying to make her way in the world

The story and characters are okay but not memorable. I enjoyed learning about North Umberland and its surroundings.

Thankfully the AI narration is acceptable—better than most. There is even some voice modulation. We’re still not up to male and female voices or accents 🤨

Entertaining enough but I’ll move on.
