Didn’t like the way it was read, the story itself was good but the person that read the story was awful. You said it was an artificial reader & you could tell. Awful

Sweet story. The AI narration wasn’t the best but still enjoyed the story and would listen to more from this author.

Sweet story!

This story line is nice. I liked the characters, and the story, while somewhat predictable was very enjoyable. The virtual narrator was pathetic. The intonation was off, words were pronounced incorrectly, sentences that would have typically had some depth, emotion or just spoken either with hesitation, enthusiasm, sadness, whatever appropriate emotion all sounded exactly the same. This book is worth reading but not listening to. I know it's part of a series so if the rest of the books are using a virtual narrator I will read them instead.

Now we're stuck listening to virtual narrators?

Found the story to be well written. Found the narration to take away from the story.

Well written tale of loss and new found love.

What a sweet story of community, friendship and healing… I so identify with Meredith… who finds herself starting her life over at 50… following a divorce and children who have moved away… the opportunity of an estate left to her after her father’s passing.. opens the door to a new life with new friends!

Balm for the lonely soul!

This story may have been enjoyable if it was read by a human being. I don't like virtual voice. I will be avoiding all books narrated by virtual voice in the future. I couldn't finish this.

Can't stand Virtual Voice

I may have stuck with this book if it wasn’t for the virtual voice reading it. It’s repetitive, doesn’t flow and very distracting. I had hoped to enjoy this book but couldn’t get past the horrible reading

Virtual voice audio book is annoying
