About this listen

I chose the man I want to be with...the universe disagrees.

Access to the Fae Realm has been lost for centuries, so when my brother mates with the mythical phoenix and becomes part of the Guardian Quint, things get interesting. Their destiny is to reestablish the portal gate and unite the realms. I tag along for the ride.

I'm used to living in the shadow of my family.

My father and mother are the late Fae Prime and his Prima, my brother the new king. I'm nothing as grand as them. I'm the daughter, the sister, the liaison between Kotah and the life of rule he never wanted. I know who I am though, and have my own strengths. I also have a certain someone I have my heart set on.

Until him...

With two realms uniting and bursting with possibility, my world is shattered with a Dark Curse.

*This is the sixth audiobook in the second harem of the Guardians of the Fae Realms, steamy reverse harem paranormal romance series. Expect sexy polyamorous situations (mmmfm), rollicking action, ongoing storylines, and shifter lovers who find what they need from not only their queen, but each other as well. Med-burn, med angst, vivid sexual content, and language.*

Dark Curse

This is the sixth book in the Guardians of the Fae Realms series. This book is focused on Kotah’s sister Kayla. Kayla has chosen Doc as her mate, but fate has other plans. The Quint has found a way to open portals to the Fae Realm. Creed and his step mother come through the portal. Creed and Kayla are fate seared. Will Kayla, Doc, and Creed work things out. I can’t wait for the next book. Lia Holland and Gabriel Thorne did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Aghhhh!

I loved reading the quints story with all the steam and angst. By the end of book 5 I was ready to read more from the other characters so I was so excited to hear that Lia and Gabriel were continuing on with this world!

Dragons, wolves, and bears oh my!

First I want to start off that I didn’t listen to any of the books prior to this one. So I think I started off on the wrong foot.

I wanted to enjoy this book a lot more than I did, I think the missing pieces made this book hard for me to follow,

There was a lot of characters and a lot going on.

This fantasy story has lots of mystical creatures. There are some MM scenes. The spice is fun. Some love triangle vibes going on. There is adventure and drama. Lots to keep you interested.

I did really like the narration. First time listening to these narrators. I enjoyed their performance.

The story is left unfinished. It didn’t feel like a big cliff hanger or anything. It was just left with many questions and where shall they go from here.

I did like the main characters and would like to see where the story goes, I just need to listen to the first 5 books before diving back in!

Narrators are terrible. Story just ok.

Don’t waste your money. The story is good but the narrators, especially the female voice, are terrible. You can barely get through the story because she is so monotone. It’s like listening to one of those robot voice prompts.
