It all starts when Marisa picks up the wrong cell phone. When she returns it to Rene, she feels curiously drawn to him. But Marisa and Rene aren’t exactly a match made in heaven. For one thing, Marisa is a chola; she’s a lot of girl, and she’s not ashamed of it. Skinny Rene gangles like a sackful of elbows and wears a calculator on his belt. In other words, he’s a geek. It’s a new semester at Regalia University, and by the end of it, five men will die. My sister was good, kind, loving, and the Royals of Regalia bullied her till she killed herself. I set foot on campus ready to right some wrongs when the most handsome bunch of stone-cold weirdos asked if I needed a little help…Don’t get me started on Lucien. He fancies himself a vampire—complete with sharpened canines, cape, and a coffin, but if anyone knows how to make a man bleed, it’s him.

Coop is cooking up another sure-misfire scheme (big surprise), and this time the comedy plays out from Sean’s point of view. What’s the new master plan? Making a cheapo horror movie guaranteed to make Coop, Sean, and Matt filthy rich! It’s a terrible idea, and Sean knows it. But he actually is desperate for cash - and for a way to wipe that big fat L off his girlfriend-less forehead. But when he agrees to write a script about the attack of zombie-vampire humanzees, he has no idea just how powerful a chick magnet this movie will be. Suddenly Sean is juggling not one but three interested ladies.

Story
Discovering George Michael's Faith confirmed for David Crabb what every bully already knew: He was gay. What saved him from high school was finding a group of outlandish friends who reveled in being outsiders. David found himself enmeshed with misfits: wearing black, cutting class, staying out all night, drinking, tripping, chain-smoking, idolizing the Pet Shop Boys - and learning lessons about life and love along the way.

First time I saw her was in the mirror on my locker door. I'd kicked my swim gear onto the bottom shelf and was reaching to the top for my calc book when she opened her locker across the hall. She had a streaked blonde ponytail dangling out the back of her baseball cap.... We slammed our lockers in unison and turned. Her eyes met mine. "Hi," she said, smiling. My stomach fluttered. "Hi," I answered automatically. She was new. Had to be. I would've noticed her. She sauntered away, but not before I caught a glimpse of her T-shirt. It said: IMRU? Am I what?

Story
Not everyone is destined to live happily ever after, right? I’d be fine with averagely ever after. Lower expectations mean less heartbreak. But then I meet Mac and Daisy. Single dad Mac needs a temporary nanny for his daughter, Daisy. I need a second job until my promotion kicks in. It’s the perfect arrangement…until it isn’t. Because who can resist a dad buying ballerina tights after a day spent in a hard hat? Not me, that’s for sure. Now, Mac’s green eyes and Daisy’s crooked pigtails have me dreaming about a future I can’t give them.

Publisher's summary
Cigarettes, shoplifting, and show choir.... I’m sure it will be a doozy of a 7th grade!
Seventh grade starts on a hopeful note when Darla Decker and the Fairmount Fifteen are invited to the State Show Choir Competition at Coaster Kingdom. Although she’s made a no-dating bet with Nate, she’s jealous of her friend Reggie’s cell phone, and her parents are constantly at each other’s throats, Darla remains determined to make seventh grade the best year ever.
Will the temptation of raising mischief be too strong for Darla? In the race to act like an adult, will she stay on the straight and narrow, or will she convince herself that bad deeds aren’t bad if done for the greater good?
“Between the annoying older brother, mostly supportive parents with their own problems, and all the anxiety of early puberty, Darla reminded me of my earlier teenage years in an almost uncomfortably realistic way (which is a high compliment).” (Kimberly Lacey)
Evolved Publishing presents a frank and funny look at the path to adulthood, in the third book of the Darla Decker Diaries series, which takes us on a journey of love, loss, and the nitty-gritty of growing up as seen through Darla Decker’s eyes. [DRM-Free]
“Once again McHugh delivers with this coming-of-age series. It definitely hits you right in the feels over and over!” (Mad Mae)
