Relive your childhood memories.

Dawn takes Center stage here. She visits her dad and brother in California and the narrators are amazing.

A great listen

Love Dawn she's so chill but mature. I like how she isn't selfish and thinks of other's.

Decent book overall

Not bad. Poor Dawn. Homesick? Haven't we all been there. Never been to California, but, great that Ann knows a lot about it. Fine work, even if I feel Dawn's narrator may not get the voices right the way Brittany and Emily do.

Setting up for the future move.

This was ok. The only real conflict was Dawn being torn between California and Connecticut.

If anything it plants the seeds of Dawn's eventual move. (I forget which book that was.)

And we still get a few glimpses of the BSC back home.

3 out of 5 Beaches.
