About this listen

On the Trail Again

Deep in the heart of the Smoky Mountain wilderness there are a thousand things that will kill you. One of them is human.

Wilderness expert and dog trainer Raine Stockton agrees to help lead a survival skills training camp for her fiancés executive team. She is unaware that she and her tracking dog, Cisco, are walking into a hotbed of corporate intrigue involving espionage and stolen technology. Everyone at the retreat is a suspect, and no one can be trusted. And none of them is aware that, while their small drama plays out, a much bigger threat is stalking them.

On a routine survival exercise, the group becomes stranded in the wilderness with an ice storm moving in. With all communications disabled, they are completely cut off from the modern world and being hunted by a man to whom killing is a way of life. One by one their members are picked off and the survivors must rely on Raine and Cisco to lead them to safety. But as the killer draws ever closer, even Raine is no longer sure where safety lies.

Dont miss this thrilling first installment in The Hunter Saga, Raine and Cisco's most harrowing adventure yet!

Familiar Characters, Fresh Plot

I look forward to the Raine and Cisco books, and this one offered a sweet combination of favorite characters in a new place.

Highly recommend series

This and the whole series have well developed characters, engaging story line from start to finish. The narrator brings the characters to life. Can get enough of this series on audiobooks.

Excellent book

Loved this story and the way the characters were portrayed. Especially loved the dog’s portrayal of a real dog with out being overly done . Look forward to another book by the author.

Gotta love Raine Stockton

Another great addition to the series. Please keep the series going. The books are fun and Cisco is such a perfect example of a golden retriever.

good

Great story, loved it through and through, the only thing that always bugs me, is how Cisco is this highly trained SAR dog, not to mention a certified emotion support for senior citizens, how a dog with those kind of credentials act like an untrained misbehaving puppy? by stealing Bra's and socks? not to mention Raine is supposed to be a dog trainer? if I brought my dog to her and saw her own dog out of control, I would leave. it goes without saying a true dog trainer would ALWAYS have control over their dog.
other than that I do like the story, lots of intrigue and suspence. keeps you on the edge of your seat tol the end.

I like that she finally got over herself and has married miles. Only all of us could find a miles out there for ourselves.

I wish they would stop portraying Cisco as such an idiot, dog and so out of control. If he is indeed a service dog, he should not be jumping up and now his boundaries. I find it annoying that one moment he is completely out of control and the next minute he’s allowed to go into a hospital is fine.

Suspense continues throughout the story.

Keeps you listening for the next event. Chilling and suspenseful. Love the dog in it but it would have been nice to have it have a bigger role.
