The sleepy Sussex village of Lakehurst is abuzz with news of the arrival of the new owner of Abbot’s Manor. You do need to listen to the first hour to get the characters. And I like the characters. But my goodness. Nothing really happens for 4 hours. Then there is a murder. And then the ending is rushed and you are left unclear on exactly why it was committed.
