glad I got this

These stories round out the Paksennarion world...they add a bit to a wonderful world, yet leave me wanting all that happened between the Paladin stories and the final story in this anthology.

Great icing on the cake

This is a very enjoyable “whatever happened to….” collection of short stories in the Paks world. It was fun to revisit key events from the point of view of some minor characters, and also to find out how the lives of a couple more prominent characters turned out in the end, and what kind of legacies they left behind. As always, Elizabeth Moon thoughtfully and poignantly portrays two subjects she understands well- the human condition, and honor. I liked it a lot.

Great stories from paks' world

recommend you read deed of paksenarrion first. Great short stories about minor characters, but might be difficult to understand some nuances without the background. Regardless, I loved these and highly recommend them.

Great story, but...

The narration was terrible, the story was great but hard to listen to due to the narrator.
