Delicate Revenge by Stasia Black and Alta Hensley is the riveting story of Emmett and Bellamy. Another welcome addition to the Breaking Belles series….that just astounds me with each new story!! Yowza!!! This story was a complex weave of epic proportions!!! Emmett has admired her since they were in high school…but, she treated him like scum. Now, he has all the power…and he uses it well!!! But, things don’t go quite as he had planned and she has her own demons to deal with….

This Audiobook was narrated by exquisitely narrated by Brian Meslar and Kelsey-Ann ODowd!! They have the unenviable task of bringing these characters to life and they do it with aplomb!!!

Excellent all-around….and my favorite of the series thus far!!!!

This book was different from the others, but still great.
Standalone with no Cliffhangers, but I strongly suggest starting at the beginning.
She is a blue blood girl brought up to marry richer then she already was. She was the mean girl in high school that picked on the new money skinny boy. Things have changed and now she has secrets.
He was the richest man in the county but that didn't matter cause it was new money. Becoming a member of the order meant everything to him. Getting revenge on the mean girl he crushed on in high school was just a bonus. To bad he has started to fall for her again.
Then trials seemed easier but the drama and heat was still there.

Beginning of the book was confusing if you start with this book first. It is better to start with book 1 I guess. The story is well written, however not always my cup of tea. As I understand there will be another book, hopefully they deal with the dirty old men I can’t stand.
The performance was done very well. For those who are into these kind of books I can recommend it. Others might skip it and choose something less dark.

Emmett's dirty talk was hot af and that was the highlight of this one. I absolutely love this series, but this was my least favorite. The h was weak and pathetic. You really need money, so your plan is to go through the most degrading shit you'll ever experience and when you get to pick your prize you'll pick a rich man to solve your financial issues.....instead of you know....just making your prize your own damn money?!?
I know you really have to suspend belief for this series, but the rest worked. This one was just boring. The trials were barely even touched on in this book where as in all the others they've been a benchmark you simultaneously look forward to and cringe from throughout the book. Whereas here, there were really only 2 trials (aside from last) done on page and it was brief.

The sex was 🔥🔥🔥 af though so still worth it.

I truly don't understand why they haven't changed the male narrator yet. The female is incredible. The males a good performer, but has the voice of a geriatric male. You picture the elderly order members with a cane when you hear him instead of the initiates.
