Publisher's summary

I’m not supposed to fall in love with my husband. It’s not part of my plan.

Forgive me.

Those were the first words Santos Augustine spoke to me before we sealed an unbreakable oath. A contract signed in blood binding me to him as payment for my father’s sins.

Wearing the mask of legitimacy, this powerful crime family has returned to Avarice to punish those who have wronged them and take what they’ve always been denied, a place among the elite.

Forced to marry my enemy, I’m thrust into his world of secrets and betrayals.

My husband is a dangerous man. And he has dangerous enemies. But it’s when I’m attacked that his fury is unleashed.

It’s then I see what it means to belong to Santos Augustine.

And although I know the safest place for me is in his bed, I can’t let myself fall in love with my husband.

*Please note this age-gap, arranged marriage mafia romance contains references to past self-harm.

5 UNTIL DEATH DO US PART ⭐️ ‘s

Before jumping in be warned this is a cliffhanger ending. The next book is not available on audio but the ebook is out.

This is an arranged marriage with a very small age gap, 5 years. They meet when she is 15 and since that moment Santos takes it upon himself to be her protector of sorts. There are some triggers like self harm and su!c!de. I don’t want to say this is dark but it’s not a light and fluffy romance either. It’s full of secrets and I’m still trying to decide who’s friend and who’s foe. There are a few j/p scenes if that’s your jam! I’m jumping right into the ebook because I can’t wait for the audio.

Dual narration was perfection 💋

V•rg•n heroine
Celibate hero
Jealous possessive hero 🥵

Forgive Me My Sins

I really liked this book🎧the characters and the storyline, the narration was okay. What I don’t like is when the characters repeat multiple times the story ugh…If we aren’t paying attention to bad, go back and listen again lol. Did I mention I hate cliffhangers!😵‍💫 Let’s hope book 2 is the final one. Is it worth the credit? 🤔 Maybe, it depends if you’re okay with everything I mentioned above.

WOW

This story has A LOT of characters. And it has a lot complicated mafia families. There was so much going on that it was difficult to follow. I was exhausted when it was over. The male narrator was good but the female narrator came across whiny and overly dramatic. Also, the sex scenes were totally lacking and there were only a few. All in all, I was disappointed. Not sure if I’ll go to book 2.

Loved this book. Kept me on my toes. Lots of action and interesting plot. The description, characters, narration, all perfect. Can’t wait for the next one! Steamy scenes were hot.

I WAS HAPPILY UNAWARE & ALL IN… then a CLIFFHANGER

A very addictive, friction-filled, ten year age-gap, arranged marriage that has hate, angst and chemistry swirling and igniting and flaring from every chapter.. along with lies, truths, passion, mystery and many secrets to be uncovered. And I was caught in Natasha Knight’s cleverly constructed dual point of view web which was expertly brought to life by Stefanie and James who did a great job bringing their character’s personalities, emotional conflicts, flare-ups and dilemmas to life.

Madelena was claimed and promised to Mafia son Santos when she was just fifteen and written in the blood they both spilled that day. But the plans twenty-five year old Santos and his family have for the sacrificial pawn would have to wait until she turns twenty. However, that doesn’t stop Santos watching over his possession, stepping in to save her and seek punishment for anyone who touches what’s already his. And the angst, drama, suspense, tension, chemistry, passion and heat that follows their arranged marriage are bridges and stepping-stones bringing them closer.. but mysterious secrets, gray truths and whispered lies tears them apart too with enemies spinning their sinister doubts in their well-crafted evil webs. And what else is evil.. evil.. evil? Well that would be the major unexpected CLIFFHANGER ending that nearly launched my phone into my bedroom’s wall!!

Worth a credit? Yes definitely, but I don’t think I would’ve started this if I’d known it had a cliffhanger ending - let’s hope book 2 follows shortly behind this one.. because my phone’s still not safe 😤🫢😉.

What a cliff hanger

Enjoyed the plot and male narrator, James Cassidy though some of the writers words made his role too chauvinistic. The female narrator and writer’s portrayal of that role was cringe- worthy, but I got through it.
