About this listen

When TV reporter Riley Spartz receives a package of rotting human teeth in the mail at work one day, she's quickly embroiled in a homicide investigation that spirals into one of the odder cases the Minneapolis police force have ever seen. Though they try to keep certain grisly details quiet, this murder has a strange twist - it seems that the criminal wants his crimes publicized. Riley's investigation takes her inside a lucrative identity theft ring that links criminals from all walks of life. But as the stakes continue to rise, Riley finds herself face-to-face with a murderer who's willing to risk it all for a killer story, and has lured her into a fatal trap.

I Was Suprised!

I read alot of books in the "mystery" category. I've read several of Julie Kramer's earlier books. Throughout this book there were plot twists that I did not aniticipate. That pleased me.

Main character Riley Spartz is an investigative reporter for a local TV station. Julie Kramer was an investigative reported at a local television station in my area - she knows what she's writing about.

The pace of the story is quick, and there are plenty of twists and turns. The book is entertaining - a "good listen". I won't mention specific plot points - they could be "spoilers".

Narrator Bernadette Dunne is very good. Her voice adds to the story without being distracting.

I love this series!

Julie Kramer is back with another exciting book featuring Riley Spartz. Delivery Death is full of suspense and danger with realistic characters and a well developed fast paced plot. The only thing bad about this book is that I have finished it and I have to wait another year for the next book. This is a great series.

I Met Julie This Summer And This One Is My First

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fun murder mystery. After meeting Julie this summer, I thought this would be a fun book for my book club to read. And it was!

What other book might you compare Delivering Death to and why?

I cannot really compare as I don't normally read murder mysteries. This was a first for me.

Which scene was your favorite?

Ha! How can I write it without spoilers... let's see... there's a scene with a body trap. That's all I will say.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Extreme -- there is something that happens that is absolutely NOT what I expected in a thousand years! I had to stop and say to myself, 'Oh NO!' I did not cry, but plenty of humor throughout.

Any additional comments?

Julie was so kind to offer to skype with our book club about this book and it was a really fun evening. Thank you, Julie! Our most fun book club ever!

so glad the original narrator is back. The ending is the one I've been wanting through each other book. I wish there were more!
