About this listen
From USA Today and international best-selling author Ash Krafton comes the award-winning first book in an urban fantasy series that put a twist on vampire lore and captured the hearts of fans around the world. Bleeding Hearts: Demimonde, Book 1 will introduce you to Sophie Galen, the advice columnist-turned-oracle who is saving the world...one damned person at a time....
Enter the world of the Demimonde.
Look outside your window. Same old town, same streets, same people, same stories you've lived all your life. Or are they?
Sophie Galen is an advice columnist from the suburbs of Philly. Like many sensitive women, she's done her best to create a shelter for herself in order to live in a safe, predictable world, protecting her vulnerable self: her mind, her heart, and her soul.
Then he came into her life and blew the walls in.
When Marek Thurzo arrived, he brought with him all the secrets she never wanted to know: the world outside was not what she thought. There were people and creatures and powers she'd never dared to believe exist, and at the very center of this humongous supernatural web was one single person.
Her. The Sophia. The one hope for redemption for the Demivampire race.
Some days, she still can't wrap her head around the whole thing. Other days, she's ready to do whatever it takes to protect her demivamps, no matter the obstacle, no matter the enemy, and no matter the person.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. I couldn't stop listening!! Great series
This series is fantastic. I love the story and characters. Sofia is a sweet character, and her love story unfolds beautifully. I love the world of DV that she is introduced to. It was dangerous and exciting, but also sweet and romantic. I recommend this series to anyone who loves a bit of romance fantasy. I couldn't stop listening. I would sit in my car a few extra minutes just to hear what happened next.

If you can read, you will absolutely love this!!!!
Demimonde: 3 Book Series
Bleeding Hearts, Blood Rush & Wolf's Bane
By: Ash Krafton Narrated by: Kelly Pruner
This is one of my new favorite series; I absolutely loved this series! This is a paranormal love story, only it also includes the family members as important characters that contribute a lot to the story. I was able to predict what happened in the beginning, but after there were a roller coaster of twists! And the last book…OMG! You will be like “Wwwhhaaaaaatt?!!”
I can tell you now, if you can read, or listen (like I did), you will absolutely love this series as much as I do! The narrator did an awesome job too; she really made the story come to life. I highly recommend this series! If you haven’t guessed this by now, I rate Demimonde: 3 Book Series with 5 HUGE stars.

Enjoyed the series!
Love this series. Lots of surprises I didn’t see coming. Sophia has one crisis after another, but the story doesn’t portray her as whiny or weak. Having the three books to listen to all at once was awesome. No waiting to see what’s next. At first I wasn’t sure I would like the third book. A little bit into the story, I enjoyed it as much as the first two. Takes the storyline into a different direction and I couldn’t predict how it would end. Entertaining from start to finish. Narrator did a fabulous job. I received the audiobook for free, but I wouldn’t regret using a credit.

Memorable
The Demimonde series is captivating and memorable. Hidden agendas are around every bend and book. The Sophia is a blessing and a curse and Sophie’s love life feels endlessly doomed. The storyline is interesting and entertaining. The characters are flawed but likable and relatable. There are a few unfinished threads so maybe a spinoff series?? Demimonde
I have not read/listened to the other two books in the series. I would recommend you read those first before you get to book three since you get a better understanding of what is going on and a better connection to the characters. Saying that, I found I enjoyed listening to the book and picked up what happened in the previous books.
