About this listen

Entertaining as well as quite informative.
This book - even though a fiction - offers to the reader a pretty good insight to everything that has been at play in recent Chilean history which isn't fiction at all. A complex reality which leaves you wondering of what, when and how it will ever come out the other side of it all.

Ampuero has crafted an entertaining story through which he offers the reader a deeper understanding of all the layers at play.

I don't think the narrator was the best choice though. It was quite evident - at the beginning of the book - that he might speak the language, but is definitely not familiar with the country and it's customs...

A good insight
