About this listen

Destiny Jones is a princess with a bad attitude. She doesn’t play nice with others, she doesn’t dress up in pretty clothes, and she has absolutely zero interest in behaving like a lady. Especially when she’s so close to catching the people who tried to have her killed. Oh, and kidnapped her mother, queen of the planet Alera. Destiny’s sex-starved body, and its annoying Aleran Ardor, might kill her if her enemies don’t find her first.

Vennix was trained to hunt and to kill from the shadows. After years of serving in the Hive wars as an elite member of the Coalition’s Shadow Unit, he returned home to fight for the one thing he believes in: honor. Dedicating his life to the queen’s guard was an easy decision - but watching the most beautiful woman he’s ever met repeatedly risk her life is about to drive him mad.

Because Destiny is his. His body awakened for her. And if his new mate thinks Nix will stand idly by as she suffers without his skillful lover’s touch, she is very, very mistaken....

Ardor or not, she’s hunting a killer. Nix is going all protective alpha male, claiming she’s his mate just because she had a few mind-blowing moments in his bed. And she’s trapped deep undercover in the most dangerous place on the planet. If anyone discovers the truth, she’ll be dead. But if she gives up now, her mother will be lost forever.

Every time they get close, their enemy slips through their fingers like a thousand grains of sand. The hunt is on. The end is near. And if Nix dies protecting her, she’ll never forgive herself.

Absolutely the Best Book!

This book was so F**CKING Good! I loved how the story progressed getting better with each book.! Not overly sexual but still spicy with a very interesting story. Still wasn't happy with the 1 male narrator for women. But the way the story came together from chapters 28 on ...Amazing had me sitting on the edge of my seat! Great job Grace Goodwin 👏🏿

Her Destiny is Love

The youngest of the Ascension sisters finds love and the three part series comes to an end. Though seemingly physically the toughest of the three sisters, Destiny, the youngest, is also the most insecure. It takes the most Alpha of males to prove to her she is worthy of a great love.
Queen Celine raised three daughters each with a strength of their own but an unbreakable bond between the three of them.
If you like independent, intelligent women who live in a world where women rule, you’ll love these books, each which can be read as a standalone. You’ll want to read them all though and get to know the Alpa males they find love with and the man who helped raise them.
Couldn’t put this series down till the last word was read.

You Know what you're Gonna Get

If you like this author, you will like the book. It's the same good stuff, and I enjoyed how it spanned over three different books. I also enjoyed how this time the FH legitimately put the MH in his place, like actually did not take his crap.

However,
***MAJOR***** PLOT***** SPOILER****** I find it absolutely hilarious that the main goal of the three main characters in these three books had been to rescue their mother/queen who has been kidnapped and imprisoned for 27 years, and they were also busy having sweet sweet love with their new men and being protected, that their mom finally decided after 27 years to rescue herself. LOL and it wasn't even all that difficult. Three novels, and the Queen is like, well I don't think they're coming, I guess I should go now. And she does. ********END SPOILER*******

But don't worry; there are other things to tie together, and who's reading for the plot?

all revealed

Review of audiobook borrowed through Audible Plus.
Destiny has infiltrated the Clerics and has heard of a secret prisoner being held by the Optimals. Before she can get to that level, Nix infiltrates the Clerics to find her.
Yes, Vennix is awakened. Yes, he can assuage Destiny’s Aloran Ardor. They weather the various plots around them until the Queen is rescued. When the family gets together they can finally pull apart the various threads and figure out what happened back then and now. There were a few people or activities that I didn’t see covered.
Again, Macrae has a pleasant enough voice, but I still don’t care for him as narrator for a female heavy storyline. He also doesn’t have enough differentiation between characters.
Not bad, but can’t recommend.

Great series!

Really enjoyed these sassy princesses and their stories. The narrator did a fine job too. These books are the first time I have heard him narrate. Usually it is a male and female but this guy did good! Thumbs up five starts and all that!

Great read and conclusion to series!

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved Destiny's fighting spirit. She is undercover with another faction in Alera and trying to root out if they have her mom but she is in for a run for her money when Nix shows up after her when she admits that she is in danger to her sisters. Nix is a highly trained special forces shadow ops coalition fighter who has gone back to Alera and joined the Queen's guard. Destiny is getting closer and closer to finding a killer with a connection to who has taken her mother and Nix realizes that she is his mate and wants to protect her and keep her safe and they have to find the balance because Destiny is a fighter. This one definitely has some more action and intrigue as the over arcing story is coming to a conclusion and it was really well done. I enjoyed this one and the way that their connection is built and the way that Aleran Ardor was handled as well. Destiny's lasts longer than the others and hers definitely seems to have more of the emotional connection to it that they were struggling with a little bit as Destiny doesn't know that he fully accepts her for who she truly is. They have to deal with that miscommunication and find their way to be together and accept who they truly are and find their compromise in how they handle things. I thought this one was brought together and had a good conclusion for everything. I hope that we get to see some more of Alera in future books somewhere in the Intersteller Bride world.
The narrator did a good job with the characters and bringing it to life.
