About this listen

"Promise me one thing. No snooping. Just for one week".

Gabby St. Claire knows that her fiancé’s request is a simple one that she should be able to honor. After all, Riley’s law school reunion and attorneys’ conference at a hoity-toity resort is a chance for them to get away from the mysteries Gabby often finds herself involved in as a crime scene cleaner. The weeklong trip is a chance for them to be “normal”, a word that leaves a bad taste in Gabby’s mouth.

But Gabby finds herself alone for endless hours while Riley is busy with legal workshops. Then one of Riley’s old friends goes missing, and Gabby suspects one of Riley’s buddies might be behind the disappearance. When the missing woman’s mom asks Gabby for help, how can she say no?

Secrets abound. Frankly, Gabby even has some of her own. When the dirty truth comes out, the revelations put everything in jeopardy - relationships, trusts, and even lives.

Much better narrator than #3!

I purged #3 from my library because the author was repetitive and preachy, and the narrator was AWFUL. This one was closer to the 1st & 2nd in the series. Better storyline and narrator. However, they follow the same format where the heroine always questions her relationships but still manages to preach a bit. This is a clean series that I can listen to around the kids, but I do wish it wasn't the same formula for EVERY book! Because we are taking a road trip with the kids, I will purchase the next in the series as I do like mysteries.

Characters play off one another

This book was probably one of my favorites in this series so far. There is lots of wit and the characters play off each other so well. Definitely love the reader and am thankful she was back!

Wow! This series just keeps getting better...

Dirty Deeds is Book 4 in the series. Barritt's writing is intense, suspenseful and humorous all at the same time. The narrator is very good.

Love love loved this book. This one is refreshing after the slow Book 3. Fun and took awhile to figure out.

Gabby Stays in the Middle

She just can’t help herself. Gabby Sinclair loves being in the middle of things. I just wish she was not such a slow learner.
