The AI narration is horrible: cold & stilted. I got through it by speeding it up to 1.5. I think I’ll try faster on the next one. The story is keeping me going despite the cold narration.

This was my first book by this author. I think the story was pretty good. Good enough to make me want to get another of the books but the narration was awful. It made me really want to delete the book from my library.

This was a good story. I enjoyed the storyline and the main character is intriguing. However…….this whole VIRTUAL VOICE THING SUCKS!!! OMG, the amount of mispronounced words was stunning. The monotone voice about made me catatonic! I really want to listen to the next book, BUT if it’s virtual voice again, idk if I can do it!! Ughhh

The lack of a storyline, odd AI voice, and poor writing had me continually debating if I could finish this book. I believe the author must have used the transition, "Fortunately" or "Unfortunately" 50 times or more throughout the book. Was a difficult listen.

Fortunately, this book wasn't very long.
