Great listen to actual Doctor Who Classic Seasons

These soundtracks reminded me when I was an adolescent and could only listen to Doctor Who on the radio, since the classic shows aired late at night. The action and story line kept me interested for the next episode. Great to have these audio's available. There are more season. Hopefully more will be available.

Need More Releases like this!!!

What did you love best about Doctor Who: Classic TV Adventures Collection One?

Actual actors!!!! Dramatized as these stories are, which makes them delightful to listen too.

Who was your favorite character and why?

3rd Doctor always IMO! Jon Pertwee does an awesome job. Tom Baker comes next!

Any additional comments?

Pre-ordered Collection 2!! Wished they'd start with the 1st Doctor - 12th Doctor and release the TV Audio Collection in order of release in conjunction as they were released in the 60's

heart-warming nostalgia

What a great experience. I have the episodes at home on VHS or DVD but the narrations and interviews gave a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I have been a doctor who fan all my life so this a must have for my collection.

Lots of doctors!

Enjoyed hearing the classic doctors. Sometimes the sound effects were a bit to loud compared to the voices but it really doesn’t matter in the end. Being able to enjoy classic doctor who is always a treat. The last story with Tom Baker was my favorite story. There are two stories total told with Tom Baker.

Excellent "read"

These audio renditions are phenomenal for blind persons like myself. The narration makes the stories more vivid than the video versions.

I was not sure at first, but now I am sold... these audio versions are superior!

Bravo!

Great value for great stories

What made the experience of listening to Doctor Who: Classic TV Adventures Collection One the most enjoyable?

Definitely worth the price, even if you already have one or two of the stories in the collection. The episodes are great to begin with, and its nice having them all in one collection so I'm not installing seven different audiobooks. I'm planning on getting Collection 2 when that comes out as well.

What other book might you compare Doctor Who: Classic TV Adventures Collection One to and why?

This reminds me of the Adventures in History collection and the Yeti Attacks! collection

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I've listened to multiple Doctor Who soundtracks and these are just as good as some of the others
